Hey Grandpa Bob, No, it is not you, I believe I have answered many of your discussions over the past few days and enjoyed the photos, thanks for sharing, but I have noticed that not many people are talking either today or yesterday ... alot of people threaten to leave myLot and alot of my friends already have.

Normally, I'm happy to get one response for each discussion, as the number of people posting has gone way down. I'm really noticing this more for quality discussions. If you put up a topic like "What is your favorite color?", then you will get a lot of replies. Please don't post the topic above. Thanks in advance, as I have become a lot more likely to skip posts with questions like it.

You have observed things rightly . of late postings have gone scarece and lively discussions aon topics have come to be an abrupt standstill. what is happening these days is quite inexplicable. Hop[e things would change for the better very soon . LOl

I personally haven't been around all that much. I lost interest a while ago, and find it almost boring to log on. A lot of my friends disappeared as well, I hardly get the amount of replies I used to either. I try to answer posts from my friends, but I really have lost a lot of the oomph I used to have here. I don't know if it will come back or not. I hope you get more replies to your discussions, but it seems as though Mylot is a vast wasteland lately.

Its not just the numbers, some of it is our friends having trouble sifting through all of the discussions, including some peoples crap discussions that waste space and block us from the good stuff. Look at me, I barely get responses to topics but I'm gonna allow more time on a lot of them. Its cool since there's tons of discussions out there and its hard finding everyone's threads to respond to.

Grandpa Bob it is not you I have read a few Discussions now where People have that problem and I have to be honest that I am not getting as many as I used to I think a lot of People are getting ready for the change of Season and I believe it will no doubt pick up as from next Month so do not think it is you Love and Hugs

Hi Grandpa Bob...I saw all your various posts about the renaissance festival but not having been there I couldn't think of one thing to reply that would be of any worth in a discussion and I try not to answer for the sake of a pitiful little response...lol. I know a lot of our friends are elsewhere but I think we will find new friends to take up where they all left off. That's what I'm hoping anyway. I've joined the other site but I couldn't get in for several houres yesterday...at least we don't have that problem here.

No it is not you, and you are not boring. I am having the same problem. I think that when I came here, I was getting like at least 50 posts to my discussions ber day, then it slowly dwindled to like 1 or 2 per day. Peoples lives are just too busy anymore. I have the feeling once everything settles down for all the kids going back to school, and all it will be better again. Thanks GP BOB

Hi Grandpa Bob, I've felt this way for quite sometime now, and don't fully understand what's going on. I find it very sad. I've also had 'friends' respond once, and then they're never heard from again. I'm sorry about your discussions, not getting the desired results, as I've experienced this too. Please forgive me, as I've just finished responding to an older discussion of mine, as you know. I put another comment 'for you' in there, by the way. I've had other things going on lately, but still love 'this place.' I did finally respond to your discussion about the 'photo booth,' I'll call it, and added a comment to the additional photo you sent. I'm behind, and will take a look at your discussions, which I still have. Please don't leave us, as I still hope things pick-up again. I miss all of the 'bantering' back and forth, and good fun that we used to have here. I've just started a new discussion awhile ago, by the way, just in case you don't get your notification. If it doesn't 'take-off' in any way, I'll 'try' a couple more. Keep smiling, as you always brighten my day with your comments etc.:)

No it is not your writing at all! I enjoy your posts. I try to answer your posts but I am not on here as often as I would like to be, I am picking up the pace lol. I have quite a lot of friends on my friends list and half of the don't respond to my posts. I have been thinking I am doing something wrong by not getting the amount of comments I thought I would get. Any advice?

No problem GRANDPA BOB, don't feel down and just keep posting your good new discussion. On my part I'm really really sorry because sometime delay in responding to your discussion because I'm receiving non stop email notification from our members, so I have to follow the sequel of it, one by one until you turn come to me...almost 300 email in a day. Come on.......put down your sadness and just keep going and I know you are fits, verve and plenipotentiary of energy on give posting new discussion. To other members I don't know, maybe they are playing "football" at another field....and I have no ideas about it. For me I'm only active on this cyberboard. Come on GRANDPA BOB, gears up!!!!!!!

Personally, I am just so tired and busy that I am lucky if I get to read a few discussions. I have looked at a few of your Ren Fest pictures, and commented on them. I posted a new discussion tonight, first in a long time. I am having a hard time coming up with some fun things, but again, I may come up with some more. I have lots of discussions by one or two people is all. I hope things are better for you this weekend.

Well, I have over 200 friends now as I als am adding a few new friends everyday on the request and thus made quite a big list but I don' get the response in that respect. Actually for the last week i was totally off and I was on a short trip but i came back wednesday and had a lot other work, so was almost absent. I believe the last week end was a long holiday so many of us went out for a short break? I have posted one afetr a full 7 days. I am getting many ew discussion otifcation but not responses equally

I am thinking that this was just a slow week!

Hello! GUILTY! I'm guilty for not responding to your post grandpa bob. Well, actually i've been very quiet this past few weeks..month of August. My stepkids were here and we're very busy amusing them! LOL! teenagers..have to keep them busy or else you'll hear "i'm bored" complaints! *hihihi*. Plus works to be done in the office, I just can't keep up... when i'm logged on here in myLot I just read discussions my friends started but I don't reply as my brain seems not working...I haven't started any discussions lately as well, well one..yesterday. I do admit i'm a member of the other site as well. You still have your charm grandpa bob...it's not you..it's just people must be busy and doing their own things...now, i'm trying to keep up..*hihihi*.. and you're right..posting a complain about not getting responses worked! *wehehe* Your photos made me smile grandpa bob....seemed you really had fun! take care...keep smiling! *smile* ciao! =)

Even if we have many friends, the people who read a topic should be familiar with it first of all. And second of all, they should have something to say about that and thirdly, they should be in a mood to respond to such a topic at that particular time. So, as there are so many factors, let us be patient. We will be rewarded.
