Big misunderstanding about money making sites.

This is my view. I am member of mylot for about 10 months now. I never expected to make big bucks here but I made many good friends. I am also member of Myspace, Dada and Yuwie. I can make some money on Dada and Yuwie by having fun at the same time. I think that Yuwie is going to be big winner between last 3. Reason? Admin is very active and we know what is going on. You can block abusive users and not to worry about gangs or bullies. And, your profile is not going to be deleted if you stay with the rules. I can see big picture on Yuwie, so be patient. And, deleting this discussion will not help anyone. Did you notice that Shell always has a gas station next to BP? Honor the competition, please!

I don't have a problem with myLot, so far. I've been registered for around a month or two, but I've only started becoming an active user yesterday. It's been pretty good so far, I can definitely say. My belief is that everyone has the right to share their opinion - especially on a site like myLot (heck, that's part of the reason why I joined in the first place). Alas, I'm not obligated to agree, and so I won't. I don't worry about abusive users or gangs or bullies - because I've never encountered one on myLot. My profile is not going to be deleted if I stay with the rules - it hasn't been deleted, and I haven't logged in in a couple of months. Even though we might not always know what's going on behind the scenes, I'm fine with it - as long as the community does not turn into a virtual dystopia.

Mylot is nearly perfect in my opinion. I not only can get some extra money here, but although I can get to know the ideas from the people around the world. That's an interesting thing for me as it's an exciting thing to know the difference in thinking for people in different area.

I am not an expert. MySpace is full of sick guys sending ugly messages, Yuwie is family friendly. Between Yuwie and MySpace, I like Yuwie better. I like Mylot (I am here for one year already) and I like Yuwie. I am longer on Mylot, but Yuwie is different...no need to compare...

It's a fact that opposition is good for business as it brings people into the frame, and if your product is good enough you will win your share of the new customers. If you think about it, and I suggest the administrators do, for every opposition site mentioned here the poster has more than likely posted about myLot on the other site creating an equal playing field. I have only posted here because I don't have time for other sites, and I know I'm not going to make much money, but as you say there are some very good people, and it's fun communicating with them.

I don't know you can make money on myspace. I don't have referrals and so I don't expect to earn much there. Mylot earning is OK. I'm just not as active in spring and summer so it's not much to earn. But friends here are open with advices and experiences and so as long as my friends are here I will stay. I haven't found that on yuwie, although I like reading comments and join clubs

Yes, you can make money on Myspace. Many people did. I am also on Dada, I sign just for fun and I didn't do anything, not even visiting the site and I gain some money....but, I don't like Dada, it is so boring... I like Mylot, but sometimes I don't feel like writing to much, then I stay on Yuwie. My point here is that I can be on any site I want, this is my freedom, but those sites are not going to make me rich. All sites are helpful in getting business referrals, as is proven already. I just get business order from one of the Yuwie members....you never know...

I could tell you where about 10 BP stations are around where I live. I couldn't tell you where a single Shell station is. Sometimes, I'm not even sure if Shell even exists in my area anymore.

the meaning is that when you drive, usually 2 stations are one next to the other...maybe Citgo or Mobile...

I am sticking with Yuwie and I understand why the earnings are low.. This is because Yuwie is still on its infacy stage which means it is still growing.. Mylot underwent this process too.. Just keep your hopes high, Yuwie will become a strong site soon.. To all those who are complaining and taunting about the site, I say get out of the site and nobody would miss you there.. A person is not wothed to be succesful if he doesn't have patience.. Have a nice day..

Yeah, that is something, Polachicago. You are right about not making a lot here on mylot. I lost faith in making money online anymore. There is no easy way of making that happen. You have to work twice as hard as when you are working for someone else to make anything.

I have not been in the States much, and I did notice that there two gas station competitors near each other. Oh and about the money making sites, I am mostly here on myLot but I do not belong to MySpace and I have not heard of Dada. I do have a blog on Yuwie, but it is usually secondary to myLot and I have no referrals. i guess I am afraid of the 'do not post referrals' and I do not want to give out my real name to anyone.

Dada is like Yuwie, but I don't like it, many sico guys. Same with MySpace, so you are not missing a lot... As far as referrals, I don't have many and I don't care... All of my referrals on Mylot are not active; few are active on Yuwie..... You are right about not giving your real name...and people shouldn't ask for your name anyway.....

i don't think that there is anything bad about discussing about experiences about different sites. I have heard about yuwie from you and other people here and I am always saying that I will have a look. but these days I am so busy and things happen to be so frantic here that I hardly have time for coming here so I don't know whether I am doing this..but I am happy to say that I am still comfortable here because of the friends I have and the useful training with my written English..I wish I could earn something more like everybody but this is not the first reason for being here and so I am satisfied with writing to you and other friends..of course if you could add some more money...I will be glad (to mylot administrators!!! he he)

Yes, you are right. I think Yuwie is going to grow very big in time and it just needs a little patience. Considering that it is fairly new - it's already doing quite well.

I signed up for Yuwie under you weeks ago. I thought it would be fun. But I've never had any experience with MySpace or anything like that, so I was overwhelmed. I have no clue as to where to start. So I want to apologize for signing up but not doing anything with it so far. I'm glad to have met you here. Please stay in touch as you are able.

Yah, you've got a good point there. We can not earn really big in any site if we will not be patient enough in working on it. Hardwork do pays afterwards. As long as you enjoy what you are doing on those online programs then you have no reason to give up. Base is not build overnight. A lot of time is needed to be devoted on it, a lot of patience, and a lot of love on your work.

I had never heard of Yuwie until I saw that Oldbuddy started a discussion on it today. Can you give a brief description of what kind of site it is and how it works (i.e. how you can make money with it)? It is a discussion site like Mylot, etc. Thanks!

Well I think you are, in order for us to earn here, we should follow I rules in posting. I think it is very important because honesty is the best policy and I think it is only fair to those who post.

LOL I'm confused by your post. What does shell and BP have to do with Yuwie and mylot? The competition? LOL Funny. I'm lost. BTW, good thing you don't intend to make big bucks here because you'd have to type 24/7. It's more for fun. And I'm happy you agree.
