Now a days Firefox is really bein preffered over IE. Basic reason behind this is userfriendly nature of firefox, really faster & safe browsing, usefull more than thousands of addons.
Also it has an usefull extensions like Network tweak for it by "fasterfox". so compared to IE Firefox is always better in providing faster n safe browsin experience.

I've always preferred Firefox over Internet Explorer. I get less pop-ups with Firefox, and I know I have more security.
It does have it's downsides, though. The security feature can be an issue sometimes, and I have had problems with text editing on certain websites whenever I use Firefox. I know it's a Firefox problem, because I've tested it on IE, but I've never figured out what causes it.
Ultimately, though, I prefer Firefox. It's easier to navigate, safer, and it even saves your progress in case of unexpected shutdowns.

I use Firefox due to its ease, safety, features and add ons. I also use Opera on occasion in case I feel something maybe up with FF, or if I just feel like it. IE is totally unsafe and I always cringe when I see people using it, especially IE6 *shudder*
There is also a safe mode go between you can download and use for any program on your computer especially browsers. Searching microsoft for IE7 or terms along that and what I mentioned should yield the program. Duh! I just now remembered it. Its called "Drop My Rights"! That will limit your abilities when interfacing with the browser or program to a non-admin status, and that will cut off some malware/spyware since some depend on free reign. It will also block access of the program to major parts of your computer. For instance your browser will only use the Temp Internet Folder (saving to parts like My Documents/My Music will be blocked, so be warned).
Have a nice day all.

In my opinion there is only 1 reason that Firefox is not by far the biggest browser available is the fact that IE is part of the Windows program.
You cannot remove it even if you want to.
Many users either use IE because it is there and they dont realise they have an alternative or they think it must be best as it is part of their operating system.
I have found a couple of sites that dont work properly in Firefox, but they are few and far between these days.

I am using Firefox now and have been for quite a while. It has many advantages over any other browser I have tried (I am a former Netscape user, ugh).
IE is OK and they are trying with tabbed browsing but I prefer Firefox and rarely use any other browser. It's fast, easy, has good plug ins and I love that, when I sometimes crash or whatever, I can restore my session rather than have to restart and go back to the sites I had open.
Yep, it's my choice.

Yup...I agree to it.Firefox is one of the best browsers used now-a-days.It offers you a wide range of extensions and plugins too which IE never does like the flash plugin.
