Yes, it is very good for health. Because according to vedic life what they say is water is "sarvaroga neroda" for any disease, if the patient drinks lot of water, the toxins present in our body will be thrown out in the way of urine. And finally our health will be good. Again it depends on age, that how much should a person should take water according to the age. I do agree and prefer if diabetic patient drinks lot of water and do at least half an hour walking, they will be in very good health.

Athough its true that diabetics tend to be more thirstier than normal people. But it does not mean that those that drink for healthy reason are diabetics. Drinking water is very safe as long as you are drinking the regular amount of water required by our bodies. Too much drinking does not have any side effects except of course you'll be frequenting more disposing those excess water you take in your body. LOL! But its perfectly safe for diabetics and non diabetics.

Ideally 8 glasses of water is a day is good. I have heard if you drink a ton of water in short period of time like a few gallons you can actually drown and there was report about it at one time. She isn't probably diabetic just drinks more water than you.

I have learned a bit from you Doll! I am very environment minded and I always welcome anything that will help our Mother Earth. I'm also concerned about the man made chemicals that we clean with or kill pests with or even brush our teeth with because it will sooner or later hit our waters! We can not move on the top of a mt and say that we don't care because we are away from it ...it will come to us and we are never unconnected from it so we have to each of us make an effort to not only conserve water but stop using unfriendly to the earth products in our homes!

Your supposed to drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day. More if your overweight (which is most of America) and have been exercising. It is possible to become water toxic, but if your worried, consult a doctor.

Hello sweet!!! welcome to mylot! Enjoy your stay here as i did my friend!:) I do agree w/ the responders here, it doesn't necessary mean that you're diabetic if you drink more water than other people do. Besides how do you know that it's too much for her? People have different lifestyles, active or sedentary.. if she is active then it's normal for her to drink more water to replace lost water through urine, perspiration etc... the only way to find out is to consult her doctor. This is a nice pose.. tc always.
