Help! Get them out of my house!

My son stopped over the other night. He kept going to the refridgerator and opening the freezer door. That is not unusual. He and his wife are trying to eat healthier. So last night I go in the freezer and there nestled under the frozen veggies is a package of mini candy bars. Twix. I ate two. And this morning had another! I don't keep that stuff at my house as I have a hard time resisting them! Do you have something you avoid buying as it is just too much of a temptation?

Yes, the same thing you do...candy bars. I can't stay away from them if I buy them and I don't get that much company that I would feed candy bars because they, too, don't like packing away calories. I get "health food" treats that I mix up to replace that "munchy" feeling. I gte soy nuts, walnuts, pecans, sesame sticks, unsalted peanuts, Gold fish, pretzels and almonds and mix them in a big jar...and have a snack on them while I am on the computer...they have calories, but they also have "fiber" haha.

Yes, candy like gummy bears or sour punch straws. I know I'm a grown woman, but those used to be my favorite. Of course they have no fat, but a WHOLE lot of sugar. So I don't even buy them thinking I will ration them out, because I won't. I just don't buy them at all.

We had a friend of the family stay with us for a couple weeks and he was always buying stuff like candy bars, oatmeal pies, fudgies, ect. I'm DIABETIC and cannot have that stuff even though I love it and have very low self-control when it comes to goodies like that. I ended up making him keep them in his car so I wouldn't be tempted.
Hubby also likes cookies, candy, ect. I can't have any of that either so I usually buy him whatever kinds I don't care for that way I'm not tempted to snitch them.

Right now I have icecream sandwiches in my freezer, and they are somewhat an impulse food. I do not eat more than one at a time, though. I am lucky, I do not have lots of cravings. If I had cookies here, though, that would be a whole nother story. I do not care if they are the lousiest cookies on earth, I must eat them until they are all gone. Heaven forbid that I would make a really yummie cookie. I just do not have cookies in the house, not even in the freezer.

If i have anything chocolate in my house, I will eat it. When i dont have choclate i crave it and end up eating anything i can get my hands on. So I just buy some M&M's and eat a handful when i crave them. Otherwise i would be gaining more weight by not having them in my house. This way I dont gain weight.

My biggest downfall is no bake cookies! I only make them once or twice a year because I will sit and eat them all by myself! My son and my husband do not like them. So, if my neices and my sister are coming over, we all love them and I will make them then. Those and home made bread, I will eat the whole loaf myself if I make it!
