My son, age 6, told me yesterday that he wants Muzzy so he can learn a different language. When I asked what language he wants to learn, he told me ALL OF THEM! He then decided he wanted to start with Spanish first. I told him ok buddy, we'll check it out. Muzzy is TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. Ok so that's out. I checked eBay and the Spanish version is going for over $100, easily. So that's out too. Does anyone know if a program similar to Muzzy that isn't as expensive? Thanks!

Boy a young person that wants to learn all the languages. Now is the eaiest time for him to learn because this age their minds are so trainable. i would be doing every thing i could to find this program for him. Have you tried the library?

No, I haven't tried the library - that's a great idea, don't know why I didn't think of it!

There are many programs for kids to use to learn a new language and I give your son a lot of credit for being smart enough for wanting to learn. An easy way would be to use babel. It's a translator where you just put a word in and it shows you the word in many different languages. It's not the best way to learn but it's a start.

much better if you train a person on different language during childhood because kids can easily understand...even without Muzzy...you can teach them in many ways.
