Is there any other program similar to limewire which does not f*ck the computer

I hated limewire when I used it, it gave me so many viruses it wasnt even funny! I use UTorrent coupled with demonoid.com and that gets me what I want with hardly any trouble at all and so far (knock on wood) I havent had any viruses either.

I would have to go with the above comment, I used to use Bitcomet, but then migrated to Utorrent, and have had no problems whatsoever.. The main problem lies within the internet though, anything can be coupled with adware and viruses which can be very tedious at times, which is why I am always very cautious when downloading anything, Not that I am promoting warez or anything illegal, but bittorrent clients can be very useful especially when downloading linux distro's.

I once used K-Lite and FilePipe for downloading music and MusicMatch for burning CDs.

Limewire can not mess up your computer unless your dump and download a video, or a program off it.
