Hey guys! The fall season is here and I am excited about decorating for the next holiday....Halloween! Do you guys go all out and decorate? Do you know anyone that does? I know some people's entire neighborhoods get into the festivities. So, what do you do?

I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays! We usually start to decorate at the end of September or the beginning of October. We just celebrated Labor Day and i'm already thinking about what I should make my son for Halloween (Elmo is the front runner). I love planning for Halloween, it's lots of fun!

I love seeing all the cute costumes. I also play some haunted
music and I also have a CD with different "monster" type rock
songs I blast for the kids etc on Halloween night.

I used to love making costumes for my little girl, but she's not so little anymore. She wants to be a bunny rabbit this year, so we are going to get her some leotards, leggings and bunny ears and I will paint whiskers on her face. Even at 13 she is still hyped up about dressing up. She doesn't want her old mom to make her a costume lol. I am already planning on what to do with my front patio! I can't wait!

I haven't been able to do much in the past but I plan on doing some decorating this year, if I can get some nice decorations to put up. I have a "mobile" that goes on the front door I made last year with felt and wire that has a ghost a bat and a pumpkin on it. That'll definitely go on the front door. Other than that I don't know what I'll be decorating with this year.
I also plan on doing a jack-o-lantern or two this year.

Last year I didn't even decorate, because we were in such a financial state and we were in the process of packing and moving, so we saved every dime we had for that. I am planning to do a little bit this year depending upon my finances. In past years we had a great yard and could get creative with sheets and stuff for ghosts and scarecrows. I don't have that here, my yard is very small in the front and I don't have much of a front patio, but I think I can make something up. I am going to take pictures and post them when I get everything up.

I'm going to be decorating my classroom up this year. I'm going to let each class help put some decorations up. It's going to be great! I can't wait to start decorating!

I know all about hitting those pesky keys! Sometimes my shift button doesn't work and I end up caps locking and then forget to un do it and end up doing the same thing. I can't wait to see your discussion! Looking forward to those pictures! LOL

Hey, at least you can go over to mom's and brother's house, enjoy the decorations without the mess of having to take them down yourself hahaha! Thanks for the comment!

I love to decorate according to the holidays and seasons. Our neighborhood is one of the favorites for kids to go trick or treating. Our neighbors make their garage into a haunted garage with a smoke machine and it is really neat.
I like to get lots of mums this time of year and have them out in front by our mailbox and up the walkway.

It sounds like you live in a really fun neighborhood! I bet the haunted house is really cool for the kids. The mums sound so pretty running up the driveway! Thanks for commenting!
