Do You Preview Before You Post?

A comment or new discussion?
I never did, but I noticed that when I added a picture, it wouldn't always come up in the right discussion or comment, so I have started previewing before I post, and it also gives me a chance to edit any mistakes and see the layout =D
What do you do and why?
Malyck.

I don't preview before I post, because I can see what I'm typing in this text box right here as I'm typing it. Therefore, there's no need to preview the response.
The real problem is that once you post, you can't edit your post. It's really negligent that such a standard feature would be overlooked.

That's actually a great point, we shouldn't need to preview it as we can see what we're typing, but it would be fantastic if we could edit post-posting =P
I usually don't make spelling errors, and I have a spell-check just in case, but I sometimes find that I write in an incorrect word, and I overlook it, which can be slightly irritating at times.
They should definitely aim to make an update which allows editing.
Thanks for contributing

I do preview my discussions before, but as I was getting used to posting discussions I never do anymore. I can check for any typographical errors as I write my discussions now. Saves a lot of time especially that myLot takes too much time to load. I do skim them for some obvious errors though, but I guess that's different from previewing them.

I never really thought about this before. I don't how ever preview before i post. I think if i did post pictures then i probably would preview, but not at the moment.

When I was a newbie here, I used to preview every discussion. Obviously, I did some blunders in spellings previously that had altered the whole meaning altogether. Better be safe than be sorry.
However, now, due to time constraints, I preview seldom. Instead I try to check it while typing itself. It's working for me.

I read it so I can avoid mistakes, as what I have just previously encountered on my own thread!:( Two of the responders didn't read the whole thread, that's why they didn't understood what I was discussing about.
I am not mad at them, I just told them to re-read it again. A little disappointed, that's what I felt.
But some people are just too slow to catch my posts, for the longest time I've been here there's one member who always makes my post more complicated instead of allowing the brain to work. LMAO

It is always safer and better to go for 'preview' but I in my hurry to post reply, directly submit it without going for preview and in the process, I commit many mistakes. :):)

Me, too. I never did it, I think it's not important to preview. Nor about the image. Sometimes when I see there is a mistake on my posts, LOL, I'm aware that preview is help. But I still don't care about preview.
Happy posting!!!

I do sometimes. Other times if its just spelling, my browser highlights incorrect words and I can change them instantly. In other cases I do forget stuff but even preview doesn't help me with that.
