Do you listen to music while posting on My Lot?

Last week I got a really cool Internet radio player and now I can't live without it. I posted it on my blog and whenever I get online, I open up a tab and start my music and in another tab I open up My Lot and start posting on My Lot.
Early this morning when I got online, I forgot to start my music player and for three hours it was really slow going. I've been so easily distracted and haven't realy gotten anything done. Then I remembered to start my music and things sped up. Not sure why it's so much more pleasant to post on My Lot (or anywhere for that matter) with music in my ears, but it is.
Do you listen to music as you post on My Lot or other forums? Do you find that it helps you focus your thoughts? Or, does it provide more of a distraction that prevents you from doing anything?

I listen to music most of the time throughout the day. Music really sets the mood- makes me happy and speeds up time. When I am posting on certain sites or trying to concentrate- I can’t have the music on. It is a distraction. I will get typing and then start to sing and completely lose my train of thought.
Most of the time when I am on mylot- the music or TV is on.

Now and then I may play music but most of the time I don't. It's nice and quiet now and the only thing I hear is the washing machine on. Can't believe how quiet it can get when it's just me at home! YAY :):) haha!

Its nice to listen to music while doing something.. before, when i study my lessons at home.. i turn the radio on before i start reading anything.. then when i do something, household chores, etc.. i also like to turn the radio on and listen to music while sweeping the floor, cooking, wiping dusts, etc.. And now, the first thing i do after i turn on the computer is to open my windows media player and play some nice favourite songs of mine.. until i post comments and discussions in mylot.. with music, i get inspired in posting.;-)

In general I tend to have music playing in the house all the time, my cd collection is huge so I have no trouble in finding music to play.

I can't! I can't post or write anything when I have the music background. I need complete silence to do my work around here or on my own stuff. And if I hear something in the background, my concentration would be totally gone. Oh, not only the music, I hate people turning on TV when I am on my work too!

Oh no, LOL. It's way too distracting to me, I get caught up singing along with the song and forget what in the world I was typing. I had to learn the hard way, to listen when I am not on mylot.

Yes, I listen to internet/online radios whenever I go online. I get pumped up by listening to my favorites songs, especially to rock music.
I use vh1 to listen to some of them, it showcases a wide array of music and genres. Though I don't download them, it already makes me happy to just listen to some of the rock songs I have missed and try to listen to those new ones too.

I listen to music sometimes, but more often than not, my TV is on. My son likes to watch TV for a few minutes at a time while he is playing, so we use it as background noise most of the time.
If I'm down here by myself, sometimes I listen to music. Sometimes I just like sitting here in relative peace, though. Plus then I can hear Elliott when he gets out of bed if he is just down for a nap.

Sometimes I listen to music while mylotting, not always. I prefer a quiet atmosphere while mylotting. This way I can get more concentrated on my work because music can distract my attention.

right now i am listening to music..i am like you..i can work well with music on..music is making me function well and not to mention i love music so much and my passion is singing..i haven't forgot to play my media player once i wake up open my laptop music starts first before anything else..when i'm malfunctioning music is making my day go fine..i also sing while i type..i'm addicted to music

Yes definitely. All of the time I'm on mylot I'm listening to music. There's a lot to choose from and it does make it a little more fun. Sometimes it does help me focus my thoughts, especially if theres a certain theme to the discussion. I can switch up music in that case.
