What makes you cry?

Are you more likely to cry when you hear bad news or good news? Do you think tears should be saved for sad moments of grief? Do you ever find yourself crying when you are extremely happy?
When my daughter was born, I cried like a baby. Not because I was sad or in pain, but because she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. And, I was so over-joyed to finally see her. For nine months I had worried constantly about her and to see her open her eyes and acknowledge me, was over-whelming.
I cried so hard that my body was shaking. And, I made them hold her up where I could kiss her little face again and again. It's a moment I will never forget. Tears of joy, not sadness. When do you cry? And, why?

Well, I cry when I feel that there is injustice or I am mad. Those tears are a way to release the pressure I guess. I haven't really had tears of job so far in my life (how bad!). But I tend to cry whenever I feel really stressful and I don't even want to talk about it with my friends.

Yes, sometimes I cry when I am very stressed and tired. Of course, I'm under stress because I'm tired. But, sleep doesn't always solve the problem, just helps me have a more level head to deal with it.

im still single and i wanna share when im outside of the Operating room because im waiting for the doctor of my sister in law who is that time currently laboring for her first baby, so while i was waiting, this new mom(i didn't know her..)came out from the OR after giving birth in a normal delivery, after a while her new born baby girl came out as she was reaching for her baby and finally got her arms around her child, i feel emotional inside as i stare at them on how happy the new mom is, it's just nice to look at them, i get teary eyes, as i was thinking that God also stares to me that way..

It is the most amazing feeling when you look into the eyes of your own newborn baby. You cannot imagine how powerful of a bond you will feel until it happens. Some people say that having children is a selfish thing but, I do not see it that way.
Having a child is the most loving and giving thing a person can ever do. It makes you into so much more than you dreamed you could possibly be. For years before my daughter's birth, I was a spoiled princess and now I am an exalted queen. It's the most selfless act and yet in many ways it's the most gratifying as well.
Do what makes you the happiest. Best wishes on whatever path you choose. Be well and return again.

Even asking me so makes me remember the last time I cried...
Tears can come due to many things, even suprise makes me shade tears, and they are not something you can easily control. So, bad or good, let's shade some tears of sadness or joy...

When there is the departure, i cry. I remember quite well that each time my great one( one vip person to me), i saw him off at the airport, when there is the check-in, each time I cried, I hugged him and shared goodbye to him then tears in my eyes. I had to control my sadness, it is so difficult for me, but I insist to send him to the airport each time.

I cry when I am upset and angry, I cry when someone close to me passes away, I cried when my son was born, I got teary-eyed when he took his first steps, I got teary-eyed everytime he smiled at me, I cried when he started school, I get teary eyed when he hugs me and tells me how much he loves me, I cry when I am watching a true life story on tv or at the movies, I cry when others hurt, I cry when I am overjoyed, man sounds like I'm a basket case aye? I cry on sad and happy occasions!

Hi beautyqueen26!Although I am still single,I thought I can understand your feelings at that moment. Its really a magic one.I have to say I am kind of emotional cause I am easily to cry.I would cry when I am touched by films or tv pogrammes,I also cry when I watch sports games, not to mention when I am over-joyed.I guess maybe its because my heart is softer than others, haha.

I dont usually cry. Sometimes even if the situation is really sad my tears dont easily show up. Not that I am affected but it is hard for me to cry.
One thing that can make me cry is when I am really mad. It's my way of unloading my emotions. Rather then pushing myself to get mad I will just cry it out. This way, after the burst out I can deal with the problem.
Sometimes overy joy makes me cry also. If I laugh too much tears comes out also. I dont know but its really happen.

I rarely cry out of joy. Mostly my tears are from sadness or dispair or anger. I usually cry with children. When I see children that are suffering or are murdered or die helpless.

I cry about lots of things. When I hear about child abuse or children dying, that's probably when I cry the most. Or about people who mistreat their animals. I even cry when my husband spanks our dogs in front of me. lol
When my son was born, I didn't cry. I just held him and kissed him. My husband counted toes and fingers, so I didn't. I was so tired, though, I think that might be why I didn't cry. I hadn't had any real sleep in the last 30 something hours.
I did cry a lot after my son was born, though. Everytime I changed him, everytime he cried, everytime I fed him, etc. It was usually happy tears, though.

I cry when I see children being hurt, I cry when I watch sad movies, I cry when I'm in pain and I've cried when I've lost family members. I've cried when me and my husband have argued, I cried when I found out I'd got into university because at last I knew I was good enough despite being constantly told otherwise and I cried when I found out that I had to do resits because I thought I was letting my family down even though I tried my very hardest. Heck I even cry at soppy movies like pay it forward or sad bits in books!
There are so many reasons there lol, I guess some things just get to me.

Nothing makes me cry! Muahahahaha!
But seriously... it's okay to cry from time to time. Even if it's during a sad movie - better to let it out than to pretend it doesn't bother you.
Who knows, if you pretend hard enough, it might start becoming true. And you probably don't want to be the jaded guy that doesn't care about anything or anyone...
