i am come from China. my nation flag was stars in a red back drop,so it have two colour: yellow and red !the star was yellow ~!

Here in the states, the flag is red white and blue! The red and white stripes are 13 alternating colors. The blue background with white stars symbolize the 50 states. The red adn white stripes symbolize the original 13 colonies. My mothers native land of South Korea is red, black, white and blue, their flag has a taeguk in the middle which looks like a yin and yang symbol in red and blue and at the four corners symbolize the four chinese symbols of the universe harmony, symmetry, balance, circulation and the white background symbolizes the cleanliness of the people. Hi binny29. I am from Malaysia. My national flag has the color of red, white, blue and yellow. Each color represent a value which makes the identity of our country. For the color of red, it means bravery. Every person in our country is encouraged to have bravery. Before 1957, our country is own by many foreign powers. We don't have the power to rule our own country. Every decision is made by the outsiders. We didn't feel safe even though we lived in our own country. During the Japanese and Communist occupying, many people lived in poverty and starvation. We were only allowed to grow tapioca trees at our house yard. Every day we ate tapioca. Rice was rarely found. However, because of the bravery of our local leader at that time, we managed to reach our independence by the date of 31st August 1957. We reached our independence day without war, and without any spilled blood. The color of while represent purity. Each and every person in our country is needed to have pure heart so that we can live in harmony. Without purity of heart, many fights could happen due to many races living in the same country. Here we have Malay, Indian and Chinese as the main races. Everybody respects each other and doesn't keep any grudges with each other. The yellow color represents the existence of kings in our country. Here we have a prime minister to rule the country, but every state has its own king or here we call them 'sultan' as the symbol of a country with a kingdom. However not all states have kings, some of them have governors. The blue color represents unity and harmony. We live in a multi racial country, therefore we must learn to negotiate, tolerant and share everything. We have achieved it a long time ago. Until now we still live a one nation in a country. We don't fight between races. Well, that's my explanation on the colors of my country's flag.
