I never played it myself, but I heard about it a lot. I think my older siblings played it. I think I read about it in books and heard kids talking about it. Did you ever play? Do tell. :-)

I played once with a lot of kids in my neighborhood when I was 8. It wasn't that bad or anything, it was more of a truth or dare kind of things when we did it. A few people did kiss, but instead if you didn't want to kiss you were allowed to do a dare or something.

Hi miamilady! Oh yes I played spin the bottle many of timees when I was very young. Everyone sits around in a circle and they spin the bottle who ever it points to they have to kiss.

I played it back in grade 8 and got stuck kissing a boy I wasn't interested in. What's even worse, we played for several hours and it NEVER stopped on the guy I really wanted. Rotten luck I guess!

We played spin the bottle once at a friends birthday party, if the bottle stopped at you, you had to do a dare or answer a personal question! Bit like truth or dare! The dares got funnier and more bizarre the longer we played! We also learnt a few truths about people too! Great game!

LOL! Boy that takes me a long way back. I remember it being popular when I was a kid. Since it usually involved having to kiss someone and I was very shy I tried to avoid it. These days I guess it would be considered a very tame game compared to what is done today.

Sorry to disappoint, but I am such a chicken that I never even considered it. I had my drinking days, but thank God they are over.

I hope that I have got the point. I think that I played with something alike. It was a toy like this: it was a made of wood. We play it with a thin whip to make it turn round and round without stopping. Right now they cannot be seen to be played with by children nowadays.

Hello miamilady, Yes I haved played "spin the bottle" when I was a teenager growing up for fun. It's like a game of truth or consequence, if you don't want to answer your peers question truthfully then you have to do and complete a certain consequence/punishment that they ask you too. The last time I played this was with my office friends in a party we had. I enjoyed it and had fun playing with adults both man and woman. After each bottle's spin you would hear all sorts of question from personal to just plain funny question, some secrets are even revealed. :-) When the question wasn't answered you'll see daring consequences/punishment being ask of a person, from kissing to doing funny stuffs. We're never too old to play this kind of game. Its fun to play it when your with friends on an outing or party. :-)

well i have played it, but we have different rules, like if the opening of the bottle faces you you have to choose whether it be truth or dare, if truth they are going to ask you questions like who is you crush, its a good ice breaker, i think ive played it more than 8 times in my life, and if you choose dare then you would have to do something stupid that they told you to do, like for me they asked me to go to the classroom of my senior crush when i was still a freshman while they were having their class discussion and i yelled that i loved him, it was so embarrassing but i loved recalling the past. you can still play this game no matter what age you are. be open to the never ending possibilities
