As you have noticed in my other discussion that I "was" a smoker, so my worst health habit was "smoking". But I have not been smoking for a little more than 2 weeks and I think I will soon call myself a non-smoker. Anyway, for now, my worst health habit is not working out enough. I practice yoga every weekend but I don't think that's enough. I plan to do more walking in the mornings when I am not working! I am looking forward to that *smiles*.

What about changing the time to do it in the morning, after breakfast? I tried walking in the evenings but then when I got home, I got too excited and with a clear mind that I couldn't go to sleep. So I think I will try the morning walking next month before sitting in front of my computer for the whole day. I think yoga is really nice, I love it! You should try that when you get a chance to, just to see if you like it or not!

I'm so excited for you about the not smoking!
I've wanted to try yoga and pilates for a long time but haven't had the drive to really do it yet. I used to walk in the evenings with an old roommate until some crazy guy in a car started to follow us and yell things, we got scared and stopped. Now that it's getting cooler out though, I hope to go to a nereby park and walk there.

I can probably agree with you on that one! I guess it makes it hard because I look fit, but knowing all the foods I eat aren't all as healthy as they should be, I still know I should be exercising. I keep saying I'm going to do more, so one day it might actually happen!

I say the same thing, it feels like there's just not enough time in the day to take to work out the way one should.

hello gmakesmoney,
i would say i don't have any such habit as i eat a regular well balanced diet and do my regular workouts.i don't have those habit of smoking ,drinking or anything like that.i am very much a health conscious person, infact you can say figure conscious.so i always see to it that i am not getting overweight and for this i have to maintain a lot.
but i wouldn't deny saying that sometimes i like overindulge in eating ice-creams and that leads me to very bad cold and sore throat.thats the worst habit you can say but its very rare and happens occasionally.

thanks gmakesmoney.initially i used to be such fitness conscious because it was my hobby or say like a passion.but now it has become a habit for me and i think if i could think of changing it,then also i can't.

i have no regular diet. when i feel hungry, then i will eat something.
if i like eating something, then i will eat too much, if i dont, then i eat a bit. so now i have a bad stomach. sometimes, i have throw out what i ate, then i feel comfortable, and i must have a bad headache if i throw them out. it is a bad feeling. but i can't control myself.

I don't have a regular diet either and it does have negative effects on my system as well.

Well, if drinking was to be considered as a bad health habit, then I must accept drinking. But then it isn't a habit yet. My intake varies usually from once to twice a month ;)
On another note, my worst health habit has to be termed LAZINESS...GOD knows how lazy i can get, practically in almost everything, therefore, health also comes under everything...hehe
But then my aim these days is to avoid getting lazier than before and try to work on my health which is deproving day by day :(
cheers!

I agree, I can be really lazy too and so everything suffers. I'm trying to be less lazy and more proactive but there's always tomorrow right? LOL!

mine would be not doing any exercise. im too lazy to do some exercise. i really dont sweat a lot and i think its kindof a problem. i rarely exercise and that would be stretching for a bit. ^__^;; with my previous work its not a problem if i dont exercise since my work involves a lot or walking. but now, im only at the office and i usually do my work sitting.
another worst health habit is eating what i should not eat. im allergic to some food but sometimes i cant help myself but eat those i shouldnt. ^__^;;
and i cant say drinking is my worst health habit because i only drink occassionally. ^__^

I actually eat pretty good, but I don't exercise enough. Well, I was physically active up until a month ago when I got hurt, but I probably could've exercised more. I bought a new mountain bike to go biking like I used to, but it has been too hot. The temp is dropping this week, so it might be a good week to get back on it.
