I thought this was just a bit funny. A man who was on trial for holding church members at gunpoint during a robbery attacked his attorney in an Ohio courtroom, and had to be subdued with a taser. Now, if that's not biting the hand that feeds you, I don't know what is.(: Seems to me that if he had a problem with his attorney he should have just fired him.

I saw that video on the news. The taser also hit one of the law officers there. After they subdued the defendant, he reminded me of Hannibal Lecter all wrapped up. He sure needed to be restrained. Gee, the attorney was only trying to do his job and gets attacked. What next? He would have been much smarter just to fire the attorney.

I seen that, it said he also spit in the face of his other attorney a week ago. He wanted another attorney this time. I say forget it, and lock him up. He has been given the chance for a trial and attorney and blew it. We don't want someone like that on the street.

I bet that really helped him with the case he was on trial for! Seems like this man has some serious problems on his hands and I don't mean the prison time he is facing1 xxx

Our court system is a funny or actually not so funny place.Sometimes you get surprised by a tactic from your own lawyer that you may not be expecting and once the cats out of the bag so to speak, it may be to late in a trial to recover. I've experienced a number of cases as a juror and the things that happen between the judge and the lawyers never ceases to amaze me. Although we may have the best justice system in the world in theory it is seriously flawed in practice. I'm not surprised that the attack for which you refer doesn't happen mooore often.
