I love it when I go into my girls' rooms at night before I go to bed and check on them. I usually adjust their blankets if they are falling off. Sometimes they talk in their sleep and it is the funniest thing. I will sit down on the edge of the bed and talk back to them and try to decipher what they are saying. I think it is pretty funny. I ask them in the morning if they remember our conversation and of course they don't. My husband doesn't talk in his sleep very often but he has giggled in his sleep. I would love to know what he was dreaming about that made him laugh. He never remembers any of his dreams. I don't think I talk in my sleep. But then I'm asleep, aren't I? Both my husband and myself snore. We don't really disturb each other unless he has been drinking. Then he snores louder and longer and I have to keep jabbing at him. I don't know of any remedies for talking in your sleep. Why is a remedy needed?

Is talking in our sleep a disorder? but if this is not a disorder then I think that no remedy would be needed. indeed that is funny going into your girls' room and talk with them in their sleep. my parents have not done that. my wife tells me that our one year old child sometimes talks in his sleep. sometimes he giggles and one time I have seen him smile. He was the sweetest angel that I have seen at that time. It is funny and it gives us parents something to delight for.

My mother told me that once I talked in my sleep and every question she asked me answered. She never used it against me though. I dont do it anymore but my daughter is at the age when I use to talk in my sleep and she does it too. When I question her she answers too. I will laughingly disclose to her what she said and she would laugh too. I told her whenever she does wrong I can know the truth if I wish to but she never figured out that would be the one method to use. i dotn know of any remedy so for you be careful of your actions because they sahll be revealed in your sleep! (smile) I snore if I am very tired and my daughter always wakes me when I do that. I also snore if the sinuses are infected other than that it is not a regular thing for me.

no i'm not... i don't think that i had ever heard someone said to me tha i am talking in my sleep... but i do snore... and my hubby tells me that i snore even though it is not loud... i usually snore when i am too tired... i think talking when sleeping is the same thing... when we are too tired and our brain won't stop thinking even though we are sleeping, then we will start talking in our sleep... that's what people tell me...

then I think a possible solution to this would be to not sleep when you are too tired. to not get very tired before sleeping. to refrain from exerting too much effort that could lead to making us become very tired.

that is something. talking in your sleep and sleep walking too. I have not experienced sleep walking. how can people sleep walk? what triggers this phenomenon? It is embarassing when our secrets could be revealed through talking in our sleep.

I talk in my sleep sometimes, but not very often. I did it more when I was younger I guess. I used to have conversations with my best friend when I would spend the night at her house. We would both be asleep. Her mom thought it was really funny, and would tape them sometimes. My husband talks in his sleep sometimes. But he will sit up and talk to me, or to the dogs. Recently, he sat up in bed, and reached for our little dog. He said "Trixie, do you love me?" Since she is a dog, she couldn't answer him, so he asked her a couple more times. Then finally he said "If you do, fix me some toast!" When she didn't do anything, he started talking to our other dog. It was so funny. I started laughing, and I tried to wake him up, but he just rolled over and quit talking. I asked him about it the next morning, and he had no idea what I was talking about.

My mom and brother says that i talk during night while into fast asleep.Even today morning my mom told me that i cried for a while yesterday night and asked me whether i had any bad dream. But i dont remember anything and simply said no.. They even bully me always that iam very talkative and hence i talk even while sleeping. They even say that they will record my voice and play it the other day so that i believe it. I dont think we might get any remedy but hope doctors can help us in this regard.

yes. sometimes it is just a nightmare where we can shout. I remember having a nightmare about being eaten by vampires and I shouted. my roommate heard me but could not decipher what I said. hehehe. it was funny though. your voice taped while sleeping could really prove it. I will experiment that once someday.

I have a friend who is an all-time "talker in her sleep" . Everytime she sleeps she does that. And I find it funny. One time just for fun, I was trying to ask her some lotto numbers hahah! My friend said, I snore like hell. in our room she is always requesting me that she sleeps ahead of me first because If do get to sleep first. She will end up jabbing my *ss the whole night. heheh!

My mom says I can have a conversation with her in my sleep. She also says I snore like a mofo! AS for remedies for talking in your sleep, I've never heard of any. It really doesn't bother me, in fact, I get a kick out of listening to my boyfriend talk in his sleep. He says some of the weirdest things, he once told me to push the "red button" while he slept one time.

I talk in my sleep. As far as I know there is no remedy. Watch out for sleep walking. With me they come hand in hand. In fact it had gotten worse the older I get. Just keep looking maybe someone will have a clue.

Nope, no one has told me that I talk while I sleep!;) I don't even snore, nor sleep noisy. I have an uncle who talks while sleeping, especially when he's drunk!LoL I hate it when he sleeps beside me, so I usually go outside and sleep on the couch. I think those who snore, have sleeping disorders called "Sleep Apnea" which experiences difficulty in breathing while sleeping.

I do not snore that much, sometimes my fiancee say it s aliitle bit but I think compare with him it is nothing.I use to talk in sleep when I was a little child, but not any more.Or at least nobody hear me anymore. Also I go to a bed late when my fiancee already sleep hard, so I guess he canoot really hear me even if I would talk in sleep.

good idea to sleep late. by sleeping late your partner would not know whether you talked or you snored hard.
