what is the difference between love and like

Here in lies the diference between like and love... Love is choosing to be with someone,as one wise friend said,forsaking all others.Love is seeing someone for who thet are,baggage,bad hair and all,and still being able to look them in the eye,and say:''I LOVE YOU''love is acceptance,understanding,patience,friendship,endurance...all those things that sound so boring when you come of age. How do you know wether you love someone or just really like them?Ask your self first this:If they were involved in a terrible car accident tomorrow and became crippled,would you stay with them?If you answer is a sincere yes from the heart,then congratulations you're in love. If its no,then you are not...and thats ok too-you might just need more time.I well tell you why this answer so important-love means compromise,caring about the welfare of the other person as much as your own. Love requires trust-and the most basic foundation of trust in a relationship is knowing that your partner will not leave you,no matter waht happens.There are always going to be others more attractive,more intelligent,maybe even more compatible,others that you are attracted to,But love means you've commited to a choice and you need to follow through and see where it takes you...thanks and may god bless you....

It is very easy to say i like you to someone but difficult to say i love you since love is a deeper and more complex feeling than like... i can say i like you but i do not love you... or the ever popular... i like you.. let's be friends...

the big difference is possessive feeling between love and like. when i like a boy, then i will make friend with him, and i can accept that he make friends with other girls, even he makes a girlfriend. but if i love a boy, then i can't allow him to see other girls when he stay with me. if he smile to other girls, then i will be angry and quarrel with him. do you understand?

i think it is similar between love and like,but in many cases,like can be changed into love,but love can't.

like is full of joy but love is more complicated i think love is a sweet afflict it contains many emotion it was full of happy and sorrow ,saline and sweet ,pain and gladness.love is more profundity than like .

hmmm..... Like and love are two different things, LIKE is when you know the best side of someone and like them. LOVE is when you know the worst side that someone could ever have and you still love that person with everything you have in your heart.
