When my daughter ahs a chest cold I make the tea with it and give her to drink for 5 days and then she is fine. it is also good for cuts and bruises even though it stings. When these cuts heal no marks are left. It also helps me release the tightening in my chest when I have a cold. I use it in the kitchen too. No meat is nice without garlic.

I also use garlic a lot. Especially for cooking vegetables, the Chinese style. Besides that, I use it for making "sambal" which is made up of soya sauce, chilli, sugar, vinegar and garlic as the main ingredient. This sambal is to be eaten with fish or taufu.

Garlic has a great role to play in Ayurvedic Medicine (Indian System of Medicine). Most people use garlic in the food and I too use it,but ensure that it is used on fridays and saturdays, because the consumption of the same emanates some odour which many people do not like it. We use quite a mouth freshers in the food itself (not the mind type chocolates) but leaves and roots which cuts down the doour of garlic. Historically it is believed garlic has some great medicinal value, particularly consumption of garlic paste reduces the knee pain for middle and older aged persons.

I like eating garlic a lot. In my country, we use garlic to be cooked with fried rice, kangkong, and many other foods. People say if we eat garlic will make our body smells bad, but i don't think so. It is even useful for people who has hipertency.

My mom uses a lot of garlic when she cooks and I love it. I know it could prevent cancer and is really good for health. I remember I didn't like garlic at all when I was a kid but now I don't mind eating it and indeed I love the taste of it in the food.

I use and take it everyday for my health. Just take one from the bulk, put it at the fork tip, heat with small flame, roll it like having barbecue for one minute and eat the raw garlic. For those who got cardiovascular problem, within one month you can see the positive result. Yo do it, you will get it.

To make sambal, blend the following ingredients: 1) 3 red chillies 2) 5 pieces of garlic 3) black soya sauce 4) 1/2 tablespoon of sugar 5) vinegar to taste 6) a bit of boiled water This sambal is a bit watery and tastes a bit hot, sweet and sour.

I love garlic. I use it in most of my dishes. The flavor enhances many meats, breads, dips, butters, etc. It is also a natural antibiotic.

I think I have some Italian (or is it Greek?) in me, so I use garlic in everything except dessert. I love it and it gives the food this special flavor. If I do not have garlic cloves, I will use the powdered kind. I really should get a proper knife to crush the garlic because cutting it up does not release the juices.

garlic is a very common spices here in our country. we always use it in sautaeeing foods like sautaeed vegetables and meats. it also adds flavor in sautaeed peanuts which is a common finger foods here. I think garlic is almost always present in many filipino dishes. ^__^ about health stuff, my late uncle used to eat raw garlic when his BP raises. ^__^

This is one area i dont follow my Doc's advice, as i dont like garlic,'coz of the bad odour it emanates when one sweats. Though it is a good thing for controlling the BP and Cholesterol levels, which is the need of the hour for me, but i stick on to Allopathic Medicines than this garlic.
