In which ROOM do you spend the most of your time at HOME?

Over the years, life has become so mechanical across the globe that people might not even remember how many rooms they have at home. Even now if i ask you the number of rooms at your home, you'll start counting 1,2,3... like a kindergarten kid. Don't you? If not, answer spontaneously to test yourself. Take not more than 2 secs:p
Anyhow, i'm taking you on a short trip to the 7 ETERNAL WONDERS of the world. Just a quick reminder of all the rooms that perhaps are a part of your home, especially for the sake of those who are lost in their own world of work, studies, dreams, fantasies, pains and problems.
[Before proceeding, read the discussion *title* once more]
1) KITCHEN;-
To impress women who form majority here, i'm beginning with this place which has kept me alive for 20 years as of now. I call kitchen as " Ladies' Laboratory " since every new cuisine that is taught in the TV, read in the book, tasted in the hotel, etc is experimented here and that too without an instructor!!
Its not only women that you see here, but also some men (helpful and helpless husbands:p)
What i like about kitchen is, sometimes you aim cooking something, but it happens out to become something else which indeed would taste even better than the expected end product!
Just as how Grahambell trying to improvise the telegraphy ended up inventing the most useful Telephone!!..lol
2) BEDROOM;-
My answer is here. A heaven for bigtime lazies, make-up maniacs and for newly-weds as well:p
If you are an internet geek, this is the place where your eyes grow dim within no time, provided your PC is in your bedroom.
If you are an eavesdropper, you might get to hear irritating snores and other interesting censored sounds. I'm not one as such.....just writing on imagination.
3) BATHROOM / TOILET;-
If,
you live under chilling conditions OR you have constipation / piles / constant loose motion OR you are being over-hygienic bathing 5 times a day, your answer will likely be this one i.e Toilet/bathroom:p
Infact, i'm expecting some answers here too. The other day i saw a myLot interest 'Going to the toilet' under 'hobbies i enjoy'.
4) HALL;-
" HeLL-O, welcome, How-r-U, I'm fine, ThanQ " Is this how you greet your guests, wearing a synthetic smile? The hall becomes hell to you when an unlikely and unwanted guest arrives at your door step.
Hall is quite an amazing place, it will be a total mess most of the times in my home, but it gets transformed into a beautiful museum within minutes once i get a clue that some guest is targetting us today for his cup of coffee...lol
Its a funny place as well, one will be reading newspaper holding toothbrush + toothpaste foam in his mouth whereas the other will be watching TV holding Remote control with left hand and chicken soup in the Right.
I'm pretty sure of getting some answers in favour of *HALL*.
5) DINING HALL;-
One of my favourite places too, as i love eating. An ideal place for household Round-table conferences, or should i say oval-table or rectangular-table conferences?
It is also the only place where all your family members meet once in a day/week/fortnight/month....and dine together, sometimes group-victimised by Lady Grahambells:p
If you weigh 400 pounds or so, then i guess, you likely fall into Dining hall category...haha
6) WORK STATION / STUDY ROOM / LIBRARY;-
You'll find workaholics, nerds and bookworms here. I'm glad that i did'nt happen out to become one of them. I'm not a sticky customer, i like to taste all kinds of stuffs and am sick of monotony. Let me see who all belong to this group from myLot. There must be few or even many, who knows. Come on guys, put on your glasses, let me know you.
7) STORE/LUMBER ROOM;
A perfect playhome for lizards, frogs, cockroaches, ants, spiders, termites and a research lab for entomologists( those who study insects). I'm not sure whether many of you have a store room at home, but we do have one. We store a lot of junk stuffs over there, also grains if we bought them in huge quantities(in gunnies), it is maintained clean.
Any insect lovers over here?
So, what's your answer? (Sleeping hours excluded)
One more Question, Have you developed some sort of special attachment with any of your ROOMS? For any special reasons?
Like, For Eg; 1) You found some luck working out with that room, you always get good news while being in that room
2) You saw your love for the first time through the window of that room.
3) Your granny breathed last in that room.
something like that?

I spend most of my time in my office so like I say in my little blurb - " a bit of a bugg-eyed nerd, that's who I am"
I work from home and sit on an exercise ball at my desk so I don't get a secretary spread (because we all know how attractive that looks on the short girls like me LOL).
I cook like a dream (or nightmare depends on the dish) so the kitchen is one of my favorite rooms
I sleep like a baby (a collicky one) so the bedroom is another one of my favorite rooms but seriously my absolute favorite is the dining room because it overlooks the backyard and I can stare at the flowers all day - or at least dream about staring at them all day.
As for guessing how many rooms I have in 2 seconds, without counting - I actually guessed right and even surprised myself.

Mine would be in my room or in the living room. I would be in my room if I want to draw or have a music trip. If not infront of the tv I'll be infront of the pc. I guess technology is one of the most that consumes our time it maybe business or just a leisure.

My bedroom is kind of a "hangout" for everyone in my house. My computer is in there, we have a TV, and as my kids say a big "comfy" bed. I will be at the computer, my hubby and kids on the bed watching tv. We all kind of gravitate to my room. My sons have a tv in their room too. So sometimes one will be in their room, one in the living room watching tv and hubby & me in my room. I hardly ever leave my room actually. I cook and do dishes, then back to my room. Bathroom, shower, back to my room, etc. It has become the "central hub" in my house. I pay bills there, everything.

I spend most of the time out of my home. When I am at home I spend my half-time in drawing hall with my family and then go to my bed-room where I read some novels and get back to bed. Good night.

Well I mostly spend time at my own room in my home. Specially in front of my personal computer and laptop. I like to spend time in my room because I got everthing I wanted to have in my own room. Oh yes, I even play my damn cute guitar usually in my room. Apart from my room you will not see me in my home I will must be outside of the home.

I spend most of my time in the bedroom. We sleep in the bedroom over night and that takes about half of the day already. Plus, my computer is in the bedroom, so I do my online stuff here. After bathing my toddler in the bathroom, I change her clothes and tidy her up in the bedroom, then make her take her nap in here, too. I also reading a book in this room while my daughter is sleeping. I like this room compared to the rest in my apartment the most as it is very peaceful and relaxing.

I spend most of my time in the dining room and living room. The living room is where the tv is and where my kids usually are. The computers are in the dining room, we've sort of turned that into an office. It just needs to be more organized. We're working on that lol. I don't generally spend a lot of time in the bedroom until it's time to go to bed, and only as much time as necessary in the bathroom. I'm not one of those women who cooks or bakes for fun, so I spend enough time in the kitchen to make a meal and clean up. That sums up my house..

My work/computer/paper room... don't let the name fool you, very little work gets done here! I answer my emails, but its all family and mylot friends, so no work involved.
When I scan and enlarge and print and cut and paste and stamp and emboss and... well, no work there, either!
Once a week I do invoices, once a year I do taxes... that IS work, but I don't mind too much, because the rest of the time, this room is so much FUN!

I have a very small one floor home. There is two bedrooms, one bath, one room for storage, very small kitchen, smaller dining room and the living room. In my living room is where we spend most of our time. My computer and television are both in this room so there is no need to go any where else. I can work on my computer and still be with my family. We can interact with each other no matter what is going on because we are all in the same room. I also have a wood burning stove in the living room, so in the winter this is the warmest room in the house and tends to draw the family together. When we have game night I set up a table in the middle of the living room for us to play. I also entertain family and friends in the living room. The living room in my home is exactly that a living room.
when I was little and I spent a lot of time at my grams we were always in the kitchen. My grams loved to cook. We socialized over drinks at the kitchen table. We played games at the kitchen table and we ate our meals at the kitchen table. My grams kitchen was the center of living in her home. Grams was a good good. I do miss her some times. I miss the kitchen table too.

It's hard to say, what room I spend the most time in. But, I think it would be our office. We have our computers and desks in our third bedroom. We don't have kids, so we don't need the room for a bedroom. I write a lot for AC, and I chat a lot too. LOL He loves to be on the internet and play games. So, we spend a lot of time in the computer room.
