My homemade pizza is pretty good. I'm still looking for the perfect dough recipe, but I always add garlic and basil to the crust. You can top pizza with just about anything. My favorite is to use alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce and top the pizza with grilled chicken, mushrooms and parmesean cheese. I also do 3 or 4 cheese pizzas sometimes with mozzarella, american and parmesean with ricotta occasionally.

Whisking and making the water too hot might kill the yeast. Last time I checked you were supposed to stir it gently into the water to "wake it up" and then let it sit and proof. It's also not going to rise much if you don't give it something sweet to eat.
