If you are not planning to send anyone money there would be no need to put money into your account. ALWAYS assume that any email you get asking you to send money is a phishing scam. That will keep you out of trouble. Forward the email to MoneyBookers fraud email and they will verify.

If you use it to receive payments it should work just fine.

I've never used MoneyBookers but usually they ask for a deposit if you plan on making a purchase on line through the account rather than just using a credit card.If you have the account simply to accept payments I don't think that you need to send any credit information.

I received that same email too. If you do not have plan to send money or purchase online then you don't have to fund your account.

I think its either a scam email or just a reminder either way you do not have to make a first deposit. Also you should verify that email with moneybookers.com
