What world are these people living in! Homosexuals do not need you to accept it! They just need you to mind your own business! The person said that he/she cannot be friends with a Gay person, and i thought; what if they get along with someone and they become good friends and stay friends for 6 years and then the friend admits that he/she is Gay, what then, you just dump them and lose a friend? LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes you should just keep your opinions to yourself. It's not normal to "think aloud". The person who posted it 8 months ago said that "i know they're born like it but it's wrong". What a TWIT! ...... God made every body, God made people black, God made people white, God people short, God made people tall and God made people Gay. God made PEOPLE, full stop!

People who say that they cannot accept homosexuality are obsessed by what gay people do in the bedroom. It saddens me that they can't see the human being. Gay people would rather not be labeled. Just because they are attracted to people of their own gender, it doesn't make them less human. My brother lost a few friends when he came out, but the majority already knew. My son has a close circle of friends. He came out to only them(he's 16) and they have stood by him, the boys and the girls. It does my heart a world of good to see that. So for every person who hates gays, there are many people growing up that accept people for who they are. Try not to get upset, but don't back down. I never back down. LOL. My son's life could be at stake.

Gays are not pedophiles. The "club" that you are talking about is one that gay men do not partake in. Gay men like men, not boys. You say a family member of yours was raped at 14 and is now claiming to like other girls. maybe she is gay, and maybe she isn't. BUt if she is, it's something she was born with and not something she aquired. Now on to the bible. Leviticus was written for the levite priests(hense the name) in order to keep the hebrew race a pure race. Leviticus 28 and 20 has more to do with straight men who screw men to get off. It doesn't pertain to gay men in committed relationships. However, if you are going to quote leviticus, make sure you don't eat pork or shellfish. Make sure you do nothing on Saturday. Make sure you don't wear cotton and linen together. All of these are wrong according to leviticus. If you are going to quote Sodom and Gomorrah, don't bother. The story of sodom had nothing to do with homosexuality. This sin of sodom was inhospitality, idolatry, and greed. If you are going to quote anything that Paul wrote, don't bother. Aside from him being a closet que*r, he was also regergitating(sp) leviticus. If there is anything more from teh bible that you wish to quote let me know. I'll tell you the real translation.

I have a few gay relative, my daughter who is 15 says she likes girls, she was raped at 14, and I don't think people are born gay it is a choice, in this world the people who say they are gay suffer, they get killed, it is their lifestyle, just like me marrying my wife, she is white and I am oriental. If gays did not come out of the closet, and have clubs like man and boys, and their pedifile life style, I think people wouldn't care, but they have gay pride parades and expect people to accomadant them with domestic partnership, and medical insurance and gay marriages, this is going too far, if you are gay don't flount it, and change the diffinition of marriage, do what you want but don't expect society to change for you, there is nothing I can do to show you what the bible says, you wouldn't believe it, so I really feel there is no disscussion, you think beng gay is fine, i feel society doesn't, and if you get beat up oh well.

Oh and if you think that it's fine if a human being gets the crap kicked out of him just because of who he dates, you have no business quoting the bible in any aspect. Perhaps a re read. "Love thy neighbor."

I do agree with you. I'm just wondering what would be people's reaction if I say heterosexuality is an invention just like homosexuality like my professor pointed out. I don't know if you'll get what I mean by that. Believe it or not, there are people out there who do research about heterosexuality and homosexuality. It's really...really interesting if you're open minded. Just a thought. lol but yeah...what world so those people live in that they cannot except homosexuality.

i completely agree with you that we have to mind our own business and stay away from other people's business... however, i have to disagree with your statement that God made people gay... i don't think so... i think being gay has nothing to do at all with God because God created us very good (Genesis 1)... we human choose to be a gay ourselves... great post anyway... have a nice day...

Well maybe this will change your mind; If you believe that people CHOOSE to be Gay then are they choosing to have their family and friends dump them and treat them badly? Are they choosing to be beaten up by homophobic gay bashers, and have 4 ribs broken, 6 teeth knocked out and permanent brain damage from extensive head injuries? Or worse; are they choosing to be murdered by homophobic gay bashers? I know that if i had a choice between all that heartache and abuse OR being straight, then i think i'd choose being straight. And somehow i don't think any sane person would choose the heartache and abuse, don't you think so too?? Can you answer this question; If God came down from the heavens and told you that the Bible has been changed since it was first written and that most of what's in it today are not the words spoken by Him/Her, what would you believe then?

Well Nikki - I think that is a great post. I am constantly disgusted by some of the anti-gay posts here on myLot - especially those coming from people purpurting to be "Christians" - a religion that is supposed to be about compassion, caring, and understanding. I don't know who the person is that you are referrring to, but if they can dump a real-life friend so easily, then I have no respect for them, and most certainly wouldn't want them as a friend myself. I am not gay myself, - but I do have gay friends, and as far as I am concerned, people are people, whatever their colour/race/religion/creed or sexuality. People who think otherwise have a lot of growing up and maturing to do in my opinion, because looking down on someone just because of who they happen to fall in love with is disgusting. I fully admit that I have deleted myLot friends, if I found out they were homophobic or prejudiced in any way after they asked to be my friend - I have no time or respect for them at all. It's not just a case of acccepting different opinions - it is an inbuilt prejudice that I find repulsive. I wish more people here could be like you - thanks for your post.

There are a lot of posts on here about people not being able to accept gay people and I cannot figure out what the big deal is. We love, laugh, live, eat, play, sleep, and put our clothes on the same way as everyone else, so what on earth is the big deal? And just like there are terrible straight people out there, there are terrible gay people as well. You can't just lump everyone of the same sexuality into one category and claim that it's all the same thing. It's sad really. Oh well, they don't know what they're missing. They'll just have to get over it.

Well for me,i think homosexuality is genetic and those people are just who they are.Its not fair for other people to have hatred towards them. However sometimes i get offended by looking at a homosexual man wearing girl clothes and acting like a girl..its not too good looking.

Each to their own. It's nobody's problem but your own if you choose to get offended.
