Hello! Do you like gardening? Is there a garden in your house? I mean outside your home?
I don't do gardening, but my gardener does and I love natural beauty (flowers, plants, greenary). There is a kitchen garden in backside portion of my house and a garden in the front too. There are red roses, pink roses, dark pink roses, yellow roses, white roses, peech color roses, dark red roses, marigold, geranium and some other flowers & decorative plants in my garden. In the kitchen garden also there are many types of roses and ladies finger plants. Now we are thinking to plant some other begetables and fruits in the kitchen garden like green leafy vegetables, papaya and guava.

I love to garden - find it so therapeutic. It is great when you can get alot of different colors blooming at the same time. Only thing I don't love - weeds!

Thanks for responding! Yes, I too don't like weeds. Actually when we go on summer vacation to my grandpa's place and come back after 15-20 days, we see weeds in our garden everywhere. Then, we have to remove it.

Yes, I am interesting in gardening, but not very seriously. My residence is located in the hub of a commercial place and hence there islways a lot of noise, air pollution and sound pollution. To ensure that my family members get clean air, I have built a curtain like potted plants with lots of green leaves. I have a collection of about 75 green leaves pots with some exotic variety of plants. I water these pots every day, clean the pots from weeds and other grasses, use manure for proper growth once in 2 months and twice a year, repot them. This is how my gardening is going on. I go to my friend's house and pick up a plant if I donot have a variety of that kind.

Most of these plants are brought to my house by my sisters who are fond of them. Now I just maintain them and I like to watch them grow. Some of them are flowering plants.
PS: You are supposed to reciprocate my gesture of responding to your discussion topic with that of yours. Is that going to happen?

I simply love gardening. This is a very satisfying pastime.I have a very big garden.A huge lawn with lots of plants.I have a green house too.I have different types of hybrid hibiscus- they are there throughout the year and add alot of colour.I have geraniums, roses, lots of annuals, perenials and plenty of potted plants. My prize collections are the different varieties of hybrid begonias i have.I spend alot of time in my garden and i have a help too.I feel very proud when people come and compliment me on my garden.Gardening is very therapeutic. You get immense staisfaction from seeing your garden bloom.I take part in flower shows and i keep winning alot of prizes.I have a small vegetable garden too my wants are taken care of.Maybe at the most i will buy my onions, tomatoes & coconuts from the market.I do spend alot collecting plants. If i see a nursery i have to go and buy.
I hope you too enjoy gardening as i do.

You have a gardener? That must be nice. I like gardening, but the weeding part of it can be a killer, we have several picky weeds and briars that naturally grow here. I love my pink roses and my herbs, berries, wild foods.

Hi there. We love gardening, we have gardens all around our home... I love and prefer doing our own gardening, I dont trust no one else to it for me, unless its my husband, because we are so proud of our gardens and would really be disappointed if anyone came along and messed with our plants...

Gardening is my hobby. I find so much satisfaction in gardening. I grow some of my plants through seeds and some by stem. Propagation is what I enjoy most. Maybe we can share some secrets about gardening. I will add you to my friends list we have the same passion in gardens.

Yes I love gardening, I love to see beautiful flowers in my own garden. Also you can reap almost the same health benefits from gardening as you would from a workout in the gym, and it isn't just your body that gets healthier after gardening. YOur mind and emotions can also improve. There was a survey carried out by MIND found 50% of people believed the physical exercise, including gardening, was one of the best activities to boost their mental health.
Gardening like other forms of moderate exercise, will help to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels if you do it for around 30 minutes per day. Exercise such as gardening has even been found to help prevent type II diabeties, heart disease and strokes.
The benefits of gardening are power of sunlight, physical fitness, staying mentally alert and reducing stress levels.

I like gardening, I'm a bit of a botanist personally, but its more of a hobby/passive interest than anything. I can't garden right now due to the situation I'm in, but I try to care for plants on occasion. I've often wondered if I truly had everything in place, would I do a good job landscaping. Grunt yardwork is no problem, but landscaping, maintaining and improving the landscaping, that really takes a lot of patience, skill and knowledge.

I absolutely love it!! It's my favorite thing to do! I moved into a house with a huge yard a little over a year ago, and I'm having so much fun! It's a little hot right now though, so I haven't done too much lately. I am going to start posting some pics over the next few days, you'll have to check them out!!

Yes I do I love flowers specially orchids with different colors and sizes, but unfortunately I don't have a garden it's only a dream for me. But before when we are still in the province we have a big plot there that my mother used to plant vegetables and some root crops. Now that we moved here in the city I don't have place for a garden but I have a orchids that I put on a pot. I love flowers it relaxes me every time I saw them.

Their are so many beautiful plants to choose from. One of my favourites is the African Violet because they flower almost all year round.
