I sure wish there was a way to edit a discussion after it's posted...

I just started a discussion about toilets in an open area and just left out one little word in the title. But that little word not being there changed the whole meaning of the sentance. I forgot to put the word 'or'.
"Would you sit next to someone, OR far away?" But it says: "would you sit next to someone, far away?" (*deep sigh*) Oh well. As long as the story is ready, maybe the messed up title won't matter.
What are some of your best goofs?

this does seem to be one thing mylot has missed out on. it is very agitating when one wants to change something and realises one cant.
ALL you can do is actually respond to your own discussion and clarify the error .. if that helps.

But you can't respond to it. I tried to correct the error by commenting on the first person who popped in to reply, but as for answering my discussion, I see no way to do that.

you just add what you want to correct as a comment.

...Proof reading is my best suggestion. I am world's worst typist. I love spell check. Here, I have to proof everything and then I still miss a few.
...MyLot must have a reason for not letting us change what we write. Is there a way we can contact MyLot with suggestions? I'd like to see a "last" button under "discussions with no resonses". I like going back to them. They are a gold mind of great topics. Some I can see why no one responded.
...gotta go. Have a great day and peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della

I agree about having a 'last' button, but that list is probably never ending. If not that, then at least let us go more than 10 pages at a time.

I haven't left out a word that I can remember, but I've made glaring typo's before and felt extremely stupid! I hate when that happens.

I couldn't agree more. I have occassionally made typo erros, & feel foolish when I see them posted.
Thank goodness the other forum I am on, allows us to edit after posting.

Hi there, what's been up to lately buddy?
Well, it happened to me before when i was a newbie here that i was thinking that even i messed up with my discussions is would be fine as i can edit it.
But yeah, i found out that there's no way for me, for us to edit our discussion or even our response once it's been posted.
So now, i am really careful of checking the spellings of my post, the grammar and all that stuffs before posting it.
Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in MyLot, Godspeed.
