if u r going for a lower end mobile go for a nokia but if u r goin for an above 10 k mobile and u dont plan on a n 95 go for motorola or sony........and if u r going for looks sure go for motorola. If u r going for sound quality go for a sony and if u want a mobile to boast about go for a n series but be prepared to be plugged down by complaints......n series aint very reliable........but with all due respect nokia 1100 is the best phone i knw .........best for indian conditions.........

Hello there. I personally prefer nokia phones. I think Nokia phones are more user-friendly and they have more functions. I often find Motorola user-unfriendly for texting.

i used to be partial to Nokia! they have very user friendly phones. and very high resell value. however, every since i got a new sony ericcson phone, i think it is cool, too. i think it still boils down to the model and what you are really looking for in a phone. :-) there are some models of nokia that are not very nice, same as with any other brand. take care! :-)

I prefer nokia. The price and features suits my taste. Another factor is that, there are variety mobile games designed for nokia mobile phone than motorola. With regards to mobile parts in case of repair, parts of nokia is easier to find.

Well I prefer Nokia over motorola just because it sopports a wide vairtey of media formats and the motorola softwares are hard to find. But motorola mobiles are slim ,sleek and sexy and better looking ones than nokia I would say. Nokia is more globally accepted I think.

I think both are good. In India, Nokia is more pervasive and hence has a better resale value. Also it has more service centers than any other mobile manufacturer in India. Motorola is a good phone that requires very little service as compared to Nokia, and is has a number of instruments with a lot of utilities.

I love motorola phone phones for their stylish designs. I hate Motorola Software. But it can be changed to any other flashes found in public forum to make the best combination piece (style and software )

Hi Ian, The softwares are available in forums freely. Basically you need For most of the brand phones http://howardforums.com/ is the place. For motorola phones, all good links are captured in the link http://tweakmoto.blogspot.com/ I hope this might help you. But be sure you read the pre-noobs training document before touching your phone. You may make your phone paper-weight.
