I tend to make a lot of vegetable soups as I will use the last og the veg up before it all goes rotten n I'd have to throw it out so I make soup out of it. Its also a healthy option too which my kids love. How do you prevent your food going to waste?

Soup is a very good way to use up the last of your vegetables. And if the kids like it then you have another advantage knowing they will eat it. They get the vitamins and minerals and fiber from the soup and you are not wasting any vegetables. At this time of the year, your vegetables may last longer, but they taste real good in a soup in the wintertime.

We usually have smorgasboard night at my house. All the leftovers get warmed up and chosen from.
In the wintertime I make alot of veggie soup . I usually keep a container in the freezer that I continually keep putting leftover veggies and meat in for soups. It makes it a lot easier and I can take my time in making it.

veggies are really easy to get rotten. so sometimes as i got them from the grocery i cook it at once. store it the fridge and reheat it when its time to it. for those left overs i also do something about it so it wont go to waste.
like cornbeef i put fresh eggs anf fry it like patties it looks some like a omelet corn beef.

Soup is a good way of doing it. A good casserole or loaf can work too depending on what is left over. I've even done a chili and a meatsauce using a lot of leftover veggies/meats. I turned left over pork roast into Vesuvius. I turned some left over chicken strips into an Southwest platter.
You really have to be inventive with leftovers.
