and summer clothes seperated? Do you have your closets organized? Do you find you keep coats that you seldom use?

In the UK we have erratic weather, where one day can be Winter and the next Summer, our seasons are all mixed up, so no I don't separate my clothes, I do have clothes I have kept for years and years it's only now that I am moving that I am starting to make a big clear out of the clothes I never wear!

The weather here is hot most of the time, very hot. I am looking forward to a cold front. I will be the one doing the happy dance when it gets here. lol

My clothes are not really seasonal, there are certain colors I were certain times of the year, but that's it really.

My closet is not large enough to keep both summer and winter clothing out at all times. I put a lot of items in the space bags and shrink them down and store under my bed. I also have items under the bed in clear plastic totes. My dream is to have one of those large walk-in closets that allows for all the clothing to stay! That will never happen...there is no where to make on in this house!

OMG I love space bags. They are so awesome. I use those in my suitcase when I got on a trip so I can take my own pillow with me and pack lots of clothes.

Organize? Me? Never. I always SAY I'm going to organize things, but doing it is a whole different matter. My clothes are kind of all jumbled together. I tend to wear the same few items that pretty much get worn and then washed again, and the rest of my clothes are in various piles, in the closet, etc. I really am going to have to start trying to dig out winter things soon, as sad as that is. *sighs*

My closet is fairly organized. It's really big with some shelves up high, a few down low, and two rods from which I can hang things. The upper shelves are used for off season clothes and items that don't fit but I don't have the heart to get rid of as I might one day fit into them again (yeah, right LOL). Probably later this month I will swap the summer stuff with the winter stuff and put the summer stuff on the high shelves and move the winter stuff to the lower shelves and into my dresser drawers. I do have some summer things that I leave out all year for layering. Tank tops and t-shirts for example that are used for working out or for layering under hoodies or sweaters where the neckline is a little low and I need to cover up with a tanktop underneath. For the things that are on hangers, I move the off season stuff to the back. Oh boy don't even get me started on coats! There is something about coats that I Can. Not. Resist! I buy probably 3 or 4 new coats and jackets a year, mostly on clearance or at resale. I cannot resist coats and jackets and have tons of them, many that I rarely wear.

YEah I have my clothes separeted, while I don't have so much room in my closet I keep my winter clothes right now on the other place shut in the boxex. It is also more practical, when I am in rush to find something really fast it really works. I am trying to have everything organized.Like pants are together , shirt are together and so. I find some things what I seldom use , but I just don't want them put away. The weather is a little bit coller right now, but my winter clothes are still in the box.I just have like two jacket in my closet and use those when I need. But time for winter clothes would come little bit later.

I usually keep one pair of shorts and one summer shirt out until the snow flies. Everything I have is in one closet. The long-sleeved shirts and sweaters are on the top shelf and will be brought to the lower shelves eventually. Not sure that I will put away the short sleeved shirts. I am told that the client's we work for like to keep the homes rather warm. I will dress accordingly.

I have a clothes rail where i keep my winter clothes and coats on cuz its all quite thick. It tends to get squashed in the wardrobe so this clothe rail makes it easier for me.

As you say, snow is pretty, therefore it should stay in a picture. I love winters mornings because of their crisp freshness. If you could bite into one I am sure it would go in your mouth. The sky is always so clear and bright and if there are clouds, they always look extra fleecy.
