Do you like reading books or online???

Hi indiavani as for me I read books alot. I made it as a hobby. I do like also to stay online but I do not read articles online. If I want to read the article from the internet I would print it out. My eyes are not so comfortable reading small letters online.It's kinda blurred sometimes. I guessed it has something to do staying online for a long hours.

Reading books online never even comes close to the pleasure you get reading a real book.They just cannot be equated,you cant snuggle up in your favorite couch and read an online book,like you read areal book.And i personally don't enjoy staring at the screen for hours reading a book,scrolling up and down..it drives me nuts.

I hate to read long discussion topics in mylot and where is the question of reading books online. I do not like to read more than a paragraph online. As far as books are concerned, I would like to mark the sentences for future use as a part of adding vacabultory, therefore i do not wish to read online and rather I prefer the real books.

I would prefer downloading a document and reading it offline since my dial up connection requires me to speed read a bit. But if it is a longer work I would prefer it on paper so I am not tied up at a monitor.

Hello. I like reading books or magazines but not online, because it is hard to read from the monitor and take a lot of time. Also isn't very healthly and doctors say that you read on the Internet 25% harder than normal read.

Well, the fact of the matter is I love to read. Whether it be a book in my hand, or an article online it's all good to me. I suppose one could argue that nothing can come close to a real book in your hand...the smell, texture, etc. I could agree with them, but there is so many fun things to read online. I especially enjoy fan fics. :)

I prefer to read regular books. After a while the computer screen bothers my eyes. Also, since I don't have a laptop, I can take my book anywhere, but with my computer I am chained to my desk. Even when we had a laptop I preferred to read a regular book. I've never been a fan of magazines, really, so I don't read them often, unless there is a story in one I don't want to miss. If there is a long story online I want to read I'll print it out and read it that way.

I love reading books, curled up in my favourite chair with a drink and my reading lamp on. It's relaxing and I can get lost in a book. You cannot beat reading books, no eye train reading from a computer screen for me :-)

It really depends on the kind of book. If it is information I'm looking for, I usually do that online. But I would never read a novel online. Heck, I read in order to GET AWAY from the computer, because I'm pretty much addicted to it. So I just enjoy taking out that novel, getting physically away from my computer screen, sitting down in a comfortable armchair and do some old-fashioned reading.

I don't like reading books online. I read news articles and magazine articles online though because they are pretty much the same and short. I don't like watching the news and with reading the articles online you can pick and choose which you wish to hear, unlike the news where you just hear everything.

I like to read books myself. I find that one the computer I get more tired quickly becasue you have to sit up. It's also more strain for your eyes. I like to read and respond to blogs and stuff but for my real reading I perfer to have a book. I just can't get into the ebook thing.

I prefer online,see which is interesting and i will the interesting one only. Sometime i surf the net for some magazine to read. It's quite bore if no reading surfing the net.
