Hello jHoEn16,
I prefer sunset. I love to watch sunset especially with my husband. We used to have a weekend escapade before *smiles* and to watch a sunset is definitely a must for both of us. It just brings calm, soothing feelings and a peaceful mind to me. It is just amazingly beautiful to see the sunset.

yes, it's true. both are wonderful, the beauty is an enormous power. for me i prefer sunrise over the sunset because sunrise is characterized more of a frivolous, optimistic and bright hopes. a good sunrise is nature's way to say "the day is great today! rise and shine."
On the other hand, the sunset for me is more of the gloomy, depressing yet mystical way. it's romantic too.. especially when you are watching it on the beach or boulevard.

i prefer sunset. Since I'm a late riser, I can't see the sunrise, how much more to enjoy it? When I was younger, i used to love watching the sun rises. Unfortuantely, now that I'm a mother, I don't have any opportunity to see it anymore. I don't leave my baby until she wakes up.

For me it would definitely be Sunset, I have seen some beautiful sunsets and they are truly a vision, I love sitting on the beach and watching the sunset and the beautiful colours in the sky. I don't see many sunrise because I am NOT a morning person so I am never up that early to witness one.

I love the sunset the most. To me it represents serenity.
The end of a day well lived out by myself. Soothing,
calming, amd relaxing to end the day.

I like both. Sunset means, having to wake up every morning, be active, be happy, love and be loved.Giving birth to anything, welcomes the new ones. While Sunset, is when our time past, we grow old, and we rest.

Its dull but I like both a lot. If I had to choose I'd pick sunset. A lot of color there plus a few good memories at that time of day.

I like both equally, I believe it is an awesome to enjoy sunrise from a sea beach, when sun comes out from sea side, it appears that some ball like object is emerging from the water and when the sun sets, a red ball like object immersing in water looks marvellous and whenever I get an opportunity I enjoy sun set and if possible take photographs also.

I love the sunrise its the beginning of a whole new day with many things to come, I love to look out and see it coming up over the trees, gives me hope that a wonderfull day is about to begin also i think of it as a blessing from god as he shines his light and love down on us.

I love them both. I live in a big city so sometimes it is hard to see either. In the country both are beautiful.
A lot of it depends also on the time of year it is on which is more beautiful.
jHoEn16, may the sun always shine down bright on you.

yes I like both phenomenon. and indeed you are right. no matter how long the night is, there would always be a day to come. sometimes during winter when the night is longer than the day, we long to see the sunrise. but usually I can not see the sun rise since I do not wake up early everyday.
I love to sleep and sometimes I would oversleep so it is usually the sunset that I could see. I see the sunset often because in the afternoon after work I jog or I play basketball in the afternoon. so it is usually the sunset that I see.
I have heard a joke once asking why there are lots of photography and pictures of sunset than sunrise. and the answer was that most photographers wake up late so they usually could not take the sunrise, so they only could photographed the sunset. well that was in a joke. but for me I wake up late too so I see the sunset more often than the sunrise.
but both are wonderful and I have no preference to either of these phenomenon.

hi...i live both...but i am a night person so i get to watch the sunset more... but when i love the crisp morning air with hot drink in my hand while watching the sun peek among the clouds... it's very cleansing... and for the sunset.. i am so awed by God's creation..with the brilliant sky hues and contrast...
