Reconnecting with old friends

In the past year I have reconnected with 2 people I hadn't seen in 10-15 years. One happened unexpectedly. It was great! The other was a person I had been trying to get in touch with for a couple years. And, I finally found her.
It happened to my dad once, too. One of his buddies from the Marines found him on the internet. He had thought this guy was dead.
Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever found old friends?

Just about a year ago a friend I haven't seen in about 10 years found me on myspace. She was my childhood friend from kindergarten until 5th grade. At that time my family moved a couple of states away. I never expected to talk to her again!

NO.Not really. Sometimes i will meet some old friends from primary school. But they all seems like already forget about me. I'm so shy and don't want to be shame. So i didn't talk to them.

yes, indeed its great, it just happened to me, today when i was using net, i found one of my classmates on batchmates.com. it was really suprising and unexpected too. i think in todays internet age nothing is impossible.

oh yeah, it is great to find old friends. i found friendster especially helpful. the people who could have been forgotten in my memory were finally found. hahaha i'm just so happy. i think it is a remarkable site.! :-) and i can send them messages and view their pictures too. great fun site! :-)

I have a few old friends that I've reconnected with through myspace. One of my brothers college friends that I was friend with got in touch with me awhile back. He was in town last month so we had dinner together. I found a couple of other friends that I hadn't seen in 5 - 10 years as well. It was pretty cool to get back in touch with those people.

Hello myfanwy65, Yes it had happened to me. I have found an old friend before which I have seen for almost 10 years. I found him through a friend who happens to pass him by at a town outside our city and got his number. Its been 2 years now and since then every year we would have reunion at least once with all my close friends.
Its a nice feeling whenever you find and see old close friend that you haven't sen for quite a long time. Now I am still searching for one and still wondering where he is. :-)
