Does anyone out there have Lyme disease? I have it and my whole family has it too. My mother has the chronic form due to a gene she has. She is always in pain and the insurance company will not pay for the IV antibiotics that helped A WHOLE lot, but they will give her a but load of pain medicine??? that costs them even more in the long run. Does anyone know how I could get her back on the iv antbs?

Am I just ignorant to the subject or what, but I thought lyme disease is a very fatal and serious disease. I thought you get lyme disease from woodticks. Am I wrong about this? Please inform me. I thought a lot of people can/will die from this disease. Am I getting this mixed up with something else? And how can you all have it? Is it catchy from one to the other? Am I totally wrong in this?

Wow, you sure are informative. Thank you for this. I never knew. I'm sorry to hear you and your family have such an awful disease. Keep your chins up and hopefully one day there will be a cure for it.

I don't have it and don't know much about it... I didn't know you could have a chronic form :( That sucks.
