Without a nap after the lunch, I will feel so tired and sleepy that I can't do anything right. But,you know, sometimes because of work, I usually can't have a nap during the day. then, I just feel tired, impatient even badtempered. The rest of the day will bcome kind of waste of time.:(Have you ever experienced this? shall I share your opinion of handle this kind of situation?

Me too. I will take a nap everyday after my lunch. Usually i will spend about half an hour to read newspaper first before i sleep. It's because i heard that sleep after lunch it's not good. So, i will not go to sleep once i finish my lunch.

Precisely. Without a good nap, it would make me work without much efficiency. I would also get impatient. That's really bad.

I definately feel the need to nap after lunch, but I have found that if I only rest for a little bit and not actually fall asleep I feel much better! try just resting and not thinking about anything rather than actually sleeping! see how that works...good luck!

Helo seared.
There are times when I had to have a nap after having my lunch. I think my body had become used to having a nap after lunch, so if I didn't have a nap I will feel very tired. However I didn't feel impatient or bad tempered. But I admit that I will feel moody and didn't have any desire to do any work.
When I notice that this had been a routine, I tried to change my habit by not having a nap after lunch. At first few days I admit that I felt very tired. But I trained my body not to sleep and I forced myself to be engaged in some work so that I would forget about sleeping.
After a week, I had succeeded to overcome my problem. Now I rarely sleep after lunch, practically I don't sleep in the daytime. But I notice that my night sleep is now very enjoyable and I have no problem getting sleep at night.

thank you ladysurvivor:)I am afraid I can't do that like you. I mean I've tried but failed. You just didn't rely on something like coffee.I even can't overcome that by drinking a lot of coffee or tea.:( I'm afraid I have to do more physical exercise, something like jogging at the nightfall. As I just did that yesterday, and I slept well last night,so today I feel better.:)
