Do you believe in God? Why or why not?

Ok this one for me is hard in away i sort of believe in God but in another way i don't... Sounds stupid and it's my opinion so plz dont take it the wrong way, i dont go to church all the time well i go when its poppy day to remeber all the army men/women and so on. I think it's a comfort for people especially me to know or think there will be some one waiting for me when i pass away....

Which God, whose God? Are you referring to a specific deity or just asking if you believe in any Gods at all? I believe in many Gods and Goddesses, because one of them came to me in my dreams as a child, and I have met others since then. When I stupidly killed myself as a teenager, my primary Goddess brought me back so I could finish what I was supposed to be doing on earth in the first place. My personal relationship with my Gods are why I believe. =)

I do believe in God. I was raised as a Hindu but am not exactly a practising one. I have lived in the UK my whole life and my parents let me make my own decisions about the level of my faith. I believe that there is a God up there and He goes by many different names in various religions. I do not believe God tells people to hurt or offend others just because they call their God by a different name. My faith means to me that God exists to give us guidance in His own way. Some people choose to have more faith than others and some choose not to believe at all. I don't like being told that a certain religion is better than another. No one has the right to say that to anyone and I have no time for people like that. You might believe in your religion and be more devout than me but don't go on about it. I respect your beliefs and you should respect mine (by "you" I mean everyone, not you specifically dopey22girl LOL). Peace to all :)
