Who Attacked First, The Humans Or The Machines ???

You have to see the Animatrix Saunty, that gives more insight on it, in particular Second Renaissance. In that, the humans are shown waging the real war but that is only visually, orally the narrator does not say which side started the war first. By the way, the machines had artificial intelligence BEFORE the war (even Morpheus says this). If you think it well, definitively the HUmans because they did the machines, they create all those artificial intelligence. Then the machines take the control but who is attacking? the humans are attacking themselves with their machines :).

That is a good question! In the movie it's dificult to understand, but in the second animation of The Animatrix it looks like it was the machines that turned against humans first!

I think the humans started the war because the humans money wasnt worth anything and they didnt let the robot nation join the UN and they also launched the dark storm project before the war started. I hope i got the name of the project right

humans made machines their slaves, eventually, there was one robot named B166er who killed his owner and then humans started destroying similar machines, To find more, watch the ANIMATRIX, it explains all the missing pieces

i think machines were the first to attack humans, since they are the inventions of men but many machines go out of order and kills their creator which is not bearable for the creators so then in turn they kill them.....

i think the humans attacked machines first. because the humans were always jealous to the machines. you can understand more about the starting of the war by watching an animated movie animatrrix. its all about the starting of the war and other neos.
