I have provided all the necessary links and explanations concerning about mylot. But still, I see people debating on why they lose points, dropping of ratings, etc.. It makes me think, maybe these people are just posting to get noticed by others in using the easiest way to attract other responders' attention.
Agree or not, mylot is the easiest topic to enjoy discussing at and maybe the best approach to receive a huge number of respondents. Well I'm not using mylot to receive any attention from others, I use this site firstly to inform and provide credible informations.
So I decided to post another link that will help others understand why our posts gets deleted, in liue to this, our earnings and ratings are also affected. All of you people should also understand that posting a discussion about earnings, in whatever manner is AGAINST this sites rules. So PLEASE, read the link and try to understand all of them word for word.

Being new to mylots I found your post extremely helpful. Not only will this aide me in following the rules but should help eliminate wasted time in posting a discussion only to have it deleted. I am hoping to find people to actually discuss the topics I post and not too worried about numbers. So knowing how to locate a prior discussion will be of great benefit to me. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. It is very much appreciated.

I agree that it is irritating to see 50 different discussions on what does the star next to my name mean? Or how often do we get paid and stuff like that. But I do remember starting out you don't really realize that other people have posted stuff like this already.

A little light reading--LOL. These are much better explainations (more detailed) than the ones that you normally see in the answers to these types of questions. Thanks, I wasn't even aware of the existence of these particular discussions.

Thank you for posting those links. While I already knew those answers, it was a good refresher.
The biggest problem is that so many people have joined the "I want it NOW" bandwagon that they refuse to go look for the answers themselves. So they do not hesitate to start new topics right and left. It's different if someone wants further clarification after reading materials. *shrugs*

When it comes to talking about mylot, I always think that it's best to NOT respond if we really do not know the what the topic is all about. But people still don't get it, that's why they lose points and deleted posts.
I also receive some deleted posts, that why I seldom start my own and respond instead then try to look for discussions that I feel are comfortable for me to post at.

Wow thanks for the info. raijin, I just answered a guy about the star thing because I don't remember reading about it and wondered myself. so I guess I not only started one, but also replied. I requested the mylot profile so I can keep track of what is going on and what is allowed..

That is not what it is mostly likely based at, the admin still has the last answer on what you deserve here. I don't believe that a group of people or a single person's negative (-) rating can effect your performance here, well if you'll just read the links then I'm sure you'll understand..

Well sometimes the person does nothing wrong and the topic is deleted. So I could respond to a certain topic, but then further down the line, someone might respond in a manner that is considered to be illegal. Thereby even though I and others have not done anything wrong, the topic gets deleted and we lose points.
Also there are those who report anyone who does not agree with them, not just give them negative points, but reports them and sometimes myLot may delete the whole subject.

Good post Raijin. I still have some disagreements with the current status quo, but those are the breaks. I'll still keep posting even if I become the next 1 star rated dissertation writer.

The best thing to do, I guess, is let us just choose answering those topics that best interest us. Let us posts our comments to those kind of topics that really make sense- like this one. So qualitative discussions will remain.

I think that is not gonna happen, only after a month that we'll know what the admin considers as qualitative and delete those who they think are "low" quality which does meet their standards. So I always follow these suggestions they provide, so my hard-worked posts won't get deleted.
Thanks anyways, others should learn from their mistakes instead of doing it repeatitively here.
