Double Sided Knitting

Has anyone ever heard of doublesided knitting before?....i just saw someone on BART(bay area subway) double sided knitting a pretty cool looking blanket. i have never heard of this before and its awesome! does anyone know of any good tutorials online?

I had a go once but wasnt feeling very patient, it should be good fun to do if you are in teh right frame of mind I think

no i have never heard of double sided knitting before but i will have to check into it because it sounds like it would be really fun do try and it sounds like it would look really cool that is something that i will have to check into i am sure that you would be able to find some more information about double sided knitting on the internet the only way i know how to make something double sided is to knit two pieces and stitch them to the backs of each other but that would end up being too think i think i will have to look it up on the internet and get back to yall
