I will often shop both online and within the store. However, I prefer to buy CDs, DVDs and books only online because the prices are much cheaper. I also buy pet medications online because they are cheaper. I tend to buy everything else in the stores but sometimes I'll buy toiletries online at drugstore.com. I like to use ebates receive money back rebates from my online purchases. You can check it out here: http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?id=26159278

WE buy Dutch foods from Peters Imports. There are a few others that we occasionally buy these foods from, but Peters is our favorite.

I largely shop for books, CDs, DVDs, and art supplies online, simply because there is a wider selection than I have available in the small city where I live.
It's nice to have lots of options. I do like going to the art and craft supplies stores that are local, because sometimes browsing through all the goodies in person can be inspiring!

The only thing I buy exclusively online is a medication that none of my local stores carry. I buy all my books used, so they're cheaper offline for me ($.10-$.50 normally). I buy other things online as well, but nothing that I haven't or won't buy in a store as well. However, any car I've bought, I found from an online classified site, so that kind of fits in as well, I guess.

I mostly purchase books online. Once in awhile I will purchase some DVD's or CD's. I like to purchase online, buy, forget it, get the item, no muss, no fuss! Sometimes I will see something odd online and purchase it, too.

I had purchased plane tickets on-line before and that was last year.
This year, I had purchased flowers and a teddy bear to be delivered to my pediatrician (as a birthday gift).
I do window-shopping on-line but I would prefer to see and touch what I really need to buy.

Hello ma_belle,
Yes, there is some shopping that I only do on-line. Mainly electronics. I usually figure out what I want and then shop for it online. When I find the cheapest price and the right item that I am searching for, then I order it.
My grandchildren usually request specific items that I shop around for the best deal so I can afford it for them. Most of my Christmas shopping is done online. I used to be afraid of shopping online, but I have overcome that fear.
I shop E-Bay for CDs and DVDs. There are several other locations that have electronics that I browse through until I find my item.
I don't use the ebates too often. I just haven't thought about it until now. I will check out the link that you have included with your post.
Happy posting..

I also buy all of my books online. It is a lot cheaper than going into the store. I'm not sure why they're cheaper online but that seems to be the way. And usually you can get free shipping too. I found a really great book website call bookcloseouts.com. The books are way discounted. The site isn't the greatest, but I've ordered from them and the shipping is fast. I got 7 books for $35. I was amazed.

I'm not a person who often buy online. Except for some computer program which is more easier I guess to buy online than to go to the stores.I don't know if medications are cheaper here compare to the online stores. I will check it later I guess.
