Sometimes I have a knack for over-sleeping, I am stubborn on waking up at mornings!LoL
When I wake up, I usually think of things that I would do to help me jumpstart my day. With this, I simply accept the fact that work is a normal part of our daily routine. Since I don't want to start my day with a heavy shoulder, I might as well think of things in a very good manner!;)

Indeed. I have a sister that when we were young. She would get super mad if you woke her up. I think she still hates mornings... hmm... your are right though. Work is a must. Just get up and enjoy the day for what it is.

we cannot deny the fact that when man was created we are meant to be a working machine. if we do not work and sweat it out in a day, we feel tired and depleted. yet if we accomplish something worthwhile, we feel triumphant and good. yes, raijin, that is a good attitude that you've got.

I'm sure you don't want know lol:
the only think I fell when I wake up at morning is *I want sleep*.I work many hours plus I'm a mother and wife etc....so I sleep 5-6 hours at the day and the rest of the time I'm so busy.I even work at Saturday and Sunday so is easy you understand how I fell the time I wake up right?

Yes, I do. I have a very good friend, like you. She's a good mother, good wife, and works very hard all day. When she gets sleep, tis like heaven. Am I close?

It is really different for me depend on day and situation. If I know something nice will happen that day I wake up with full of energy. But the most time I have to say I wake up pretty tired, since the morning is not my the most active time of the day. I am pretty lazy in the morning and it takes some time, when I start to do something and be active.

I can relate. I don't really wake up angry, sad, or even like "a grumpy old bear" but I do seem to have some crazy jet lag some mornings for the first 2 hours or so, you know what I mean?

The moment I wake up a cloud of gloom swamps me. I don't know why but a cloud of depression comes over me and I feel sad about all sorts of things. Once I am up I am alright, strange eh? must be my age !

Actually that's interesting. I have those days as well. Mine aren't everyday, but I have these dreams sometimes and I wake up and realize "Wow, that is just sad" and I think about it for the first 2 hours. It is the same with good dreams. If I had a good dream I wake up happy. I can't say what it is for you. That is just how it is with me.

I'm generally not fond of getting up in the morning but this morning was awful. I was lying in bed so warm and cosy and I knew it was a cold day outside because I could hear it was windy and my bedroom felt cold when I stuck a toe out from under the duvet lol! It took me ages to get up so I was almost late from work. It's not like I slept in - I was awake for ages but just couldn't force myself to get out of bed.
Other days I can be not too bad - if I know it's likely to be a good day for instance. Ironically I get up easier at the weekends when I don't have to be out of bed at a certain time, than I do through the week.

i am for sure NOT a morning person! i hate waking up, course it takes me a long time to fall asleep and usually i only get about 4 or 5 hours a night. it always feels like i had just gotten to the deep sleep when i have to wake up.
im usually pretty crabby lol! yup i will admit it..most of the time unless there is an emergency, ppl are better off leaving me alone until i get my bathroom routine done, dressed and the animals fed..THEN you can start asking me silly questions!

I am right there with you. I have insomnia when I get depressed. Sometimes I wake up feeling like I never went to sleep, even after I have been asleep for near 7 or 8 hours. I don't drink that much, so that has nothing to do with it. Just not that good of a sleeper lol. And yes, don't talk to me until I have got some energy in me. :)

Most mornings I can feel fairly good, the birds are singing and the sun is shining. On rainy and dull days, however, it is a real effort to get out of bed, I just want to curl up and sleep. This morning is a good example of total reluctance to get out of bed. It was dark and rainy, I knew I had to be up early to take my partner in to work for his early shift, I really didn't have any energy, it was an effort just to put my feet out from under the covers.

my usual reaction upon waking up to new day is saying to myself 'here's a new day again...am i early enough or have i overslept again?'. a new day for me has always been planned the day before with so many things to do. usually i end up the day without even having done half of what i have endeavored to do. not bad though. there will always be another day that by which i can work on for the fulfillment of the planned work. yeah, i will surely be glad for the coming in of another day. it means that i am still alive and kicking. i will only feel bad if i wake up sick and tired. you know how that feels. sometimes we really cannot help it. maybe it is because our body claims for that most needed rest from day to day chores that's why we get sick sometimes.

I just want to go back to sleep! I generally hit the snooze button on my alarm and end up doing just that. OH well...

I am not a morning person. I don't generally get up grumpy, mostly because I really don't feel too much when I get up. It takes a few hrs for the pain to really set in.
When I was working full time, I could be a work before I realized how bad I felt. Then, because it was just easier to stay there & keep my job I did so. If I felt terrible when I got up I knew I shouldn't be at work.

I see what you mean. I work evenings so I have to wait for the dread. I enjoy my job so it's not terrible to go to work, but some days I just feel like relaxing, so I end up forcing myself to get up and go.

Yes, it varies on different days and maybe with different people as well.
When we are happy and have slept properly at night and are looking forward to something nice to happen the next day, then we wait for the morning and that morning is always welcome, fresh, new and we are glad when the morning arrives, as we are excited and waiting for it. but if we have not slept well, and are tired, unhappy , stressed, tensed or are generally having to under go the same kind of routine daily like all other days, then there is nothing to look forward to the next morning, so the mornings arent that welcome , its just that the sun rises and we also have to get up and get going and do our tasks and things like a routine.
But , we should ideally all be grateful to the Almighty for giving us another day with a bright new morning, and we should think and remain positive.

When I wake up in the morning, it is just another day to me. Another day to do the same things that I've done yesterday. I'm glad that I wake up every morning but I don't look forward to all the things that I have to do, all the responsibilities that I have. Sometimes, I wish I could just take a vacation or better yet, retire early so that I can enjoy the life that I have left to live.

I don't feel like that bear when I wake up!!
It's hard to say how I feel. Usually I rush down to the kitchen to get a coffee. The real question is, how do I feel when I have to get up at 4.00am to take my daughter swimming?.....

I almost always want to go back to sleep. I really hate mornings most of the time. It does vary occasionally, but most mornings are not good for me. They probably wouldn't be so bad, but I have problems with insomnia so I don't sleep well at night and sometimes don't go to sleep much before I need to get up. I guess that explains why I'm so tired in the mornings :{

Oh, wow. That looks about the way that I feel in the morning. That is, especially on work mornings. I am never, happy to get up and go to work. I only look half that bad, on the weekend.

Well to me, it depends. Normally I feel refresh, especially on holidays. For the feeling that I have the full right to decide what to do afterwards makes me happy. But on working days, it is not so
pleasuable when wake up in the morning. Bed or bread, you have the options...
