What's your favourite type of soup? I love thick and creamy tomato soup, with lots of cheddar cheese and pepper in it. I also like my mum's homemade veggie soup, it has about ten different vegetables in it and is absolutely delicious! Also when i'm ill i like to have a bowl of Chicken soup, it always seems to make me feel better.

You and I are on the same page with the thick and creamy soups..I love them. I also enjoy cheese and pepper, creamy cauliflower, thick asparagus. Going to Tim Horton's on a cool day and enjoying a bowl of their soup with a toasted 12 grain bagel with garlic herb cream cheese...doesn't get much better than that! My hubby makes a wonderful cabbage/vegetable soup thick with those and other vegetables...yummmyyyy!

Hello hailie 17, I would have to say that my all time favorite soup is chicken soup. Any kind of chicken soup. Chicken vegetable, chicken and noodles, chicken and rice, chicken and anything. The only thing is that it has to be home made. The secret is a good and flavorful broth. There are health benefits from chicken soup. It helps you feel better when you are sick. It warms you up when you are cold. Hot chicken soup smells good, tastes good, and is good for you. Happy posting..

I love soup. I especially like cream based soups. One of my favorites right now is broccoli and cheddar. I also really like butternut squash. They are both very thick and hartey and can be a meal on their own.

Soup during fall and winter are especially comfort foods. They warm you from the inside out and tickle your senses with the aroma that fills your home. I LOVE cream of potato soup with lots of potatoes, onions and a nice rich, thick creamy base. My favorite to make is cream of broccoli. I found a terrific recipe on ALLRECIPES.COM that is so simple, that a beginner can make. I enjoy making beef vegetable scoup, I merely use my leftover roast from a Sunday dinner and add mixed vegetables to the cut up beef and the broth that the beef generated while cooking. YUM. Another great comfort food that we enjoy is on a chilly afternoon is cream of tomato with grilled cheese sandwiches. To make canned cream of tomato creamier, I add 1/2 brick of philadelphia cream cheese. Delicioso! Thanks for asking. Soup is a wonderful and easy dish to prepare that is extremely satisfying.
