I just read that smelling certain types of smells can help with certain types of illnesses. And it can help people loose weight. It can also make us feel more energetic. The types of smells are lemons oranges and other fruits. So what do you think about it?

Well Sweet I will say it is true as I am burning those Oils and they do help me a lot I am so glad that I was advised to Dawns Online Herbal Shop
The essential Oils are helping my tiredness, my breathing and they just seem to relax me more then what I used to be so yes they help and they are also good for the Skin I am using Carrier Oils for my Skin now and what a difference and so much cheaper
I have mixed the Grapefruit Essential Oil with my Sweet Almond Carrier Oil as it has everything that the Skin needs I have also put a few drops of the Orange in to

When you use the scents you intensely smell an essential oil for 5-7 minutes. For Appetite control you should use culinary scents like aniseed, basil, cinnamon, clove, lime, nutmeg, orange, rosemary, sage, and vanilla. Hope this helps.

I use a lot of incense so I'm familiar how smells can affect me...I do know that Lavender for instance is great for calming the nerves and relaxation--probably smells like lemon and orange are good for energizers. I don't think scents like apple/cinnamon or spicey scents are good for weight control only cause they remind me of a baking apple pie, or Thanksgiving dinner...LOL

Really? I do not have an idea that smelling can help us loose weight. But i love to smell the scent of the above fruits that you have mentioned. I like their scent than smelling the scent of flowers. If thats really true then its a big help for our friends that want to loose weight, at least a very natural way of loosing weight and not expensive too.

I think it's great. What smell can make me lose weight? That's the smell that I want to try. How do I find out? I'm desperately begging. I feel like I gain a pound a minute.

Hi TerryZ, I think is worth to try it out. Lavender is calming the nerves and I use it often when too stressed, and I also love vanilla smell, and the orange one gives me energy, so yes, they could help with certain ilnnesses

I don't know much about this, but think it is the basis of aroma therapy. Also, certain colors affect our moods also.

I cant get very technical to support my beliefs because I have never studied this or anything. But I believe there is something to aroma therapy. There are definitely scents that energize me and those that relax me. Interesting that there are scents to help you loose weight. I haven't experienced that but, hmmmm very interesting.

Hi TerryZ! That is something new. Never heard about that but do you know what kind of smell, I should be smelling so I can lose a couple of pounds? Really kind of lazy doing some exercise so I think smelling will suit me good. LOL! Have a nice day and take care.
