Work and music

yup, I do listen to music when at work. Especially when I'm feeling sleepy after lunch, I need to listen to my favourite tunes!

Yes, I always have music going while I'm at work (except when I'm on the phone) and also when I work on stuff at home. Every once in a while, I will pause a song if I'm working on a really tricky bit of editing, or need to read aloud to myself, but generally I keep my music going all day long.

One of my jobs is in a school, and the teachers will put on learning music,that emphasizes materials to be learned, or classical music as a background, or soothing music in the resource room. My other job is working in homes with adult mentally handicapped, and so there is usually music of their choice in their home. At home I often will have television on, while I work at the computer, or sew.

Nope I'm the opposite...I'll have maybe the radio on with music, but very, very low...having it louder would be a distraction for me...the only time I crank up the music really loud is when I'm cleaning--makes the chores go faster then

I love to work while listening to music. The music soothes me and it helps me to concentrate more on the things i do at the moment. It somehow inspires me and motivates me to continue what i'm doing.

I don't like listening to music while I work 'coz it distracts me. Even when I was a student, I couldn't study while listening to music (even instrumental music). I guess I'm the type of person who needs complete silence when working he he he...

My husband does. He's aChef and they love music in the kitchen.

I always have music playing in the house, usually my goth or rock music. I find it helps me in several ways, played loud gives me the energy to get on with the daily chores, while played softer helps me to relax and unwind.
