urgent prayer request

Dear my lot friends....Last night my family suffered a tragic lose.I need your prayers desperately...My ex husband of 38 years met with death last night when his 4 wheeler smashed into a barbed wire fence , throwing him and instantly breaking his necK,he died on impact...even though we were divorced he was the father of my 5 children and was greatly respected and we remained friends....We are all in shock,my children are unconsolable...This has left a big hole in each of us and we are in shock...I would please ask that you pray for my family and my children....They are in deep grief,and i am hurting badly for each of them as well as myself...I would appreciate your prayers...I do know that mylot has a lot of prayer warriors out there,so please do this and i do appreciate each and every prayer....Thank you ellen

Sending my thoughts and prayers Ellen. I'm truly sorry for the loss. I'm actually proud of your strength and your respect of your ex husband. This really spoke to me in more than one way. For the first part, I want to motocross and ATV, done them before as a kid but yea, it was a bit of a shock reading that in your post. For the second part I'm glad you really cared for your ex. I will return your emotions with strength and thoughts for you and your children. It'll be long, but I'll do what I can do for you from here. Don't know what else to say. Take care and please be there for your children.

I did love and respect the father of my children,he was a good father but not real good as a husband but i was with him 38 years and i have really suffered through this loss.I could still call him and talk if i needed advice.we remained friends .after 38 years he was just a huge part of my life...

Ellen you are a very dear friend to hold the respect and the love you have in your heart. It is not uncommon for a mother to put the children first, but many times the ex is never given any thought or respect. It's obvious to me there were problems or he wouldn't be the ex, so I commend you on your thoughtfulness. I am so very sorry to hear of this accident. There is a reason these things happen the way they do although we don't always know the reasoning. I pray that the children can get through this next while finding piece in their little hearts and are able to continue in their lives. I pray that the lord will guide them and keep them safe and hopefully the children will one day learn of Gods love and have everlasting peace. I will also pray for you Ellen that you are able to gather the strength to show the children ways of dealing with their grief. This is a terrible time for those poor kids, I know I was 25 when my dad passed away and not suddenly (cancer) and that knocked the wind out of my sails I'll tell you. Therefore my heart breaks for you and your family. Being a good person you will get through it. It looks gloomy now Ellen but God will give you strength to carry on. Keep your faith strong. Thank you for these words of comfort.it is now 3 weeks into this tragity and my children are still crying and having a hard time.They have grown a lot closer to me lately and they are very protective,afraid something will happen to me now..so they are clinging.i am the one who lrft their father after 38 years of marriage,not because i did not love him but because of his problems and such.,i just could not handle it any longer.It has drawn my children to my side as a comfort to me and i pray for them daily.It has changed a lot of things for the better.i suppose a tragity like this sometimes makes big changes...I actually cannot crasp the full effect of this right now..It just feels like it took a chunk of me and left a hole,but i know God is able to fix all things..thank you Ellen

You and your 5 wonderful children are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God sends each of your children angels to wrap there arms around each of them. I don't know anything to say except there dad is watching over them from the stars at night and from the rays of sun during the day.

i'm so sorry for your loss..my heart goes out for you and your family specially to your children..you are at my prayers..i am hoping for your quick acceptance and recovery as i know it will take sometime for its not easy to lose a love one..i lost love ones too..i lost my daughter and comes next to her was my younger brother on consecutive years..i am still on the process of grieving but slowly i had manage to accept that they now belong in heaven..they might be gone physically but in our hearts they remain alive..let us think of them just the way they are and not how they keft us..again, i'm sorry..

This is a great loss to the family and none family members and to the world as a whole but God has the purpose of his call to heaven which is unknown to humanity.
We pray that just as God has a purpose of calling him so will He reinstate someone to play his role as a responsible person for the family.
God help this family to overcome this shock and find a consolence in your love so that someone will take the place of your son you called.
May you be a help Ellen to be great protector to the children and restore her confidence in all aspects of life so that the children will see her as their mirror of light and strength. protect the children from danger and grant their dreams which they wish to achieve in life.
ALL THIS WE ASK IN THE NAME OF JESUS OUR SAVIOUR WHO DELIVERS US FROM EVERY EVIL. AMEN!

I will pray for you tonight and for sure tomorrow morning in church. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Even though I have never gone through anything like this, I do know that everything happens for a reason. Just remember that Jesus is with you!
