Anyone love the smell of coffee, but hate the taste?

Yes, I feel the same way! Coffee smells so delicious... I love the coffee aisle in the grocery store because you can smell the ground beans. But I don't drink it... I do like iced coffee somewhat but I get the vanilla or hazelnut kind.

That is hilarious! The smell of coffee to me brings me back home to when I was a kid and Mom would brew the coffee before Dad got up. That smell is so nostalgic that I love it. But I HATE coffee and never even drank of a full cup of the stuff. It reeks. But the smell? It is like a a bit of nostalgia and I love to go somewhere in the morning when the smell of fresh coffee is in the air. Takes me back home for a while. My husband will drink it now and then and I love the smell. But wouldn't drink it. ew.

Wow, I thought I was the only one! Glad to know there are at least a few of us out there!! Coffee makes me literally gag!! But for some strange reason, the smell is wonderful!

I've always loved the smell of coffee, especially in the morning. For years, I never drank coffee, a friend of mine said..I bet by the time you're 25 you'll drink it! She was wrong, I was 30 and I still think it tastes horrible, but it's a good swift kick in the @$$ when you need to get moving.(It took working 12 hour shifts on a job that was on the midnight shift) But you're right, to me it smells alot different than it tastes!

I know exactly what you mean. I find the taste of coffee awfulbut i absolutely adore the smell of it. I love being in a coffee shop, drinking tea and smelling the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. People sometimes think i'm strange but at least now i know i'm not the only one!

hey even i think tat the smell of coffee is more mouth watering than the coffee itself.ya friend u hav 1 more person who thinks like u.basically i dont like tea at all so in schooldays i always tried 2 drink coffee as all my friends used 2 drink n as usual even i wanted 2 giv it try but not successful.....neways i still try 2 drink but ehhhhhhhhh it doesnt reach my lips.....but ya i like cold coffee.i can drink it ne time if its a really good 1.thr's a coffee shop near my place n i like java temptation a lot 4m tat 1.........hmmmmmmmmmmmm its a really mouth watering

You're not the only one who feels this way, infact I've had coffee candles in my house before (I have a hard time finding them though). Anyways, I'm not a coffee drinker at all but I do enjoy Tim Hortons iced caps which do have some coffee in them.

I used to be that way. Loved the smell of coffee, but could never drink it. It's only been in the past 4 years, that I have ever drank it regularly. I love the taste now. I am 44 years old and I finally grew up? LOL

I am so glad to see that there are others who feel the same. I thought that I was the only one. I just love the aroma of coffee, but I can't stand the taste of it.

I know what you meen. Coffee does smell good but I can't make myself drink it. Even when someone put a lot of sugar and cream in it it's still something disturbing about the taste:/

i love the smell of coffee and it's taste.. unless it black...i can't stand pure black coffee... but add a little sugar, milk and cream... yum!
