How Often Do You Update Your Blog(s)?

It seems like many of us have more than one blog, how many blogs do you have? How often do you update your blogs? How do you find time to do so? Would you set a schedule to update your blogs? And sometimes, do you feel like you have nothing to say?
*laughs* As many of you know, I have a beauty blog which I NEED and WANT to update often and I would update that at least once a month. I have another blog with a friend which is more like an exchange diary thing but I never got the time to turn in a piece for more than two months *shameful*. What about you?

I have one blog, but I don't update it often. I only update it when somethings up or there's something exciting in my life. Much of which are routinary now-a-days. But if there are events, I do post specially the pictures.
I don't go for emotional blog-like diary. I go for information, or events specially in my family. Affairs and occasions so that my other relatives who are outside of our area could at least get to view the events and what happened to our relatives or his/her day.
It's more of a family blog (which I manage) rather than a personal one.
Plus because of lack of time, I cannot really sit down all the time to update it.

Right! That would be interesting. I can't do the personal one too! I tend to write emotional sad stuff if I was given a chance to write freely *laughs*. I stay focused on my beauty stuff and it's better, at least not emotionally involved.

Emotional and too personal blogs are a drag for me. It's boring, we all have our own lives, why would we want to read someone else's life? *LOL*
It's ok though if the person is someone famous. But for ordinary people, whew such a waste of time.
Just my cents.

I only keep one blog. It's http://www.paulynramirez.com . It's like a journal. I write about anything I feel like writing. Sometimes, I write everyday, sometimes it takes several days before I get in the mood to write. But when I write something I think is interesting, I also like to share it with readers here at mylot. Yes, there are days I do feel like I've got nothing to say! Just the same way I am in mylot. My writing depends on my mood at the moment. I guess with this kind of mood swings, it would be hard for me to maintain another blog.

I have 2 personal blogs, one was a wedding blog which turned to be a married life journal thing, and the other one is more of my day to day existence which I seldom update*shame on me too!*.
I write when I have something to write, and I post when I feel like journalling, I don't pressure myself too much to write..and somemtimes I really don't have time at all..I think all my spare time are being spent here in mylot. :)

I like your blog. The dresses were really cute; it's like being in someone's closet, very fun. Hope you write more movie reviews. I've been wanting to see "Knocked Up" and wonder how that movie is. At least I know about "Hairspray" huh? Nice blog.

I have about seven blogs floating around out there. Right now I'm only actively working on two, well just one at the moment. Updating for me is the hardest part because I tend to get lazy and stop. One I only update twice a month. The newest one I started in August I tried writing everyday but now I'm doing it a few times a week maybe three now.

Wow-7 Blogs is alot. For me, I tend to update my multiply regularly and that allows me to cross post to blogger. However, I also have blogs on Friendster and Yuwie but don't seem to have the energy to repeat myself on those blogs as well.

I only have one blog, so I update my blog every day. Sometimes when I'm inspired, I can update it more than once a day. I'm currently unemployed (a housewife), so I have plenty of spare time to blog. When I have writer's block and I feel uninspired, usually I'll search for inspirational stories or poems or quotations to post that can encourage me and anybody else that reads my blog. ;-D
Sorry to hear that you haven't got too much time to update your two blogs. Well, as long as you get regular readers, I don't think it's a problem. ;-D

I should really learn from you to update no matter what. But since I write specially on beauty, it would be harder to have different kinds of information daily.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can write about anything, so I have plenty more topics to cover. However, I think that as long as you write informative posts, even though your blog's not updated that often, people're gonna visit it anyway. ;-D

I update my blog whenever I find time to do so. I try to get on it at least once a month or so. Sometimes I get on more other times less, it just depends on how much time I have.

I only have one blog. You can find it here:
http://readingandreviewing.blogspot.com/
It's all book reviews and/or book news, though mostly reviews. I try and update it every day, but I usually seem to miss one or two days a week. I try not to, but it's just hard to get over there every day. Right now I am mixing in old book reviews with new ones, so I guess that will change when I get down to new reviews only. I don't think I can read a book every single day, try as I might. I'd like to start a blog about writing too, and another about politics or the election, but I find it nearly impossible to keep up with just one. I don't know how the folks do it. How many do you have?
Good luck to everyone with writing and their blogs. I love reading them!

Right I find it quite impossible to keep up just one and I think I will have another one coming along, but I never got time for that! Ahhhhh.

I tend to update my blogs through out the day. Even it I am not posting anything to the blogs I might be adding features or changing the lay-out so I would have to say most days I have some input with at least one of my blogs.
I have one main blog The Tao of Blog which tends to be used as a kind of hub with links to my other web presence sites such as Ciao and Helium and to myLot.
The other is more of a social blog but includes links to all the others sites too.

Interesting. I used to update my blog like you do all the time! But recently I lost my energy *laughs*. I need to start doing something about the layout later. Always so much to work on ha?

I have a blog and I update it daily. I am trying to update my blog everyday, with 2 posts. I am doing all right, because I see the trafic is increasing, and some readers is posting some comments. Also I have almost 70 readers, I want to have over 100, maybe sometimes I will reach 500, but it's hard, because I haven't my blog in English, I write it in my language.

Oh interesting. So you think updating the blog more often would help the traffic as well?

I have two blogs and normally I update them once a week. But sometimes several times per day if I am emotional or sentimental.
A Blog is sort of an online diary to me and can also be considered as a good friend, for you can write what you experience and what you think, among them there might be some topics you even don't want to discuss with your close friends.

Right, if it's kind of personal, then it would more likely to get updated often *smiles*. I just can't write personal stuff, those pieces usually turn out pretty sad.

I only have one blog, but I'm planning to make a new one dedicated to my profession....
I only update when I really have something on my mind. That way, I can control the quality of writing in my current blog. I write sarcastically, funny for some (usually for my family) and that's not easy to do! So I update when I'm really in the mood. :) check out http://s-intellect.blogspot.com

3 Blogs and I try to update at least once a day or every two days.
But I'm thinking of just meshing two of 'em together as one.

In my view, it's not the layout or the looking things that matter, it's the content that makes people to visit your blog. My main concern is about the content.
I do not mean that, I only post content, and do not pay attention towards how good it looks.
Anyways here are two, I update them daily with one post.

Well, I have launched my two blogs very recently, and I update them daily, with two or one posts per day to each of my blogs.
Let's see what happens next, I hope to maintain this rate for the rest of the days.
