When army wives first started.

Alright, I don't know how many of you guys watch army wives but I happened to of watch it from day one. I knew as soon as I saw the informercials I was going to be addicted to the show. Well,once the show for that week ended my anticipation was so overwhelming I could not wait until the next episode. So, I was really excited and could not wait until Sunday night to watch it. Well,then when the finale came on I was expecting it to be like 2 hours like any other finale,but of course not,not for army wives. The last episode made me so mad that I actually got up and kicked my TV when I saw Marilyn's husband(George) go to the hump bar and had a bunch of C130's strapped on him and then when Amanda was standing right by him I thought she was going to die but as soon as it looked like he pulled the button the screen went completely white and i have no clue what happened. I can not wait for season 2 of Army wives.!!!!!!

I love Army Wives too. I missed some episodes last season, though, so I'm glad they are re-running the first season again. I have seen discussion on other boards that say does or does not accurately depict life on post. I suspect both are probably a little bit right. What I mean is, I doubt ALL those things happen at ONE base, but I imagine some it goes on all over the place. I mean, obviously, not every base is going to have an army wife become a surrogate to twins! (I love love love the way the character who went through that ended up handling it in the end!).

I know I'm awfully late responding to this discussion--now the second season will be starting in a couple months! I love this show too! I'm an army wife, so it was really cool to have a show about our lifestyle!! :) I really can't wait for the next season to start either--the finale was so suspenseful!! I just recently preordered the first season on DVD on Amazon.

I didn't catch it at first, I want to say it was about 3 weeks into it but it had a little marathon so I saw it from the beginning right away. I LOVE THIS SHOW. It is so different then I expected honestly. My husband was a marine for over 11 years, I was only married to him for a few of them, but he was in Iraq when the first show about the military came out, I can't think of the name of it now it was in 05 and only had one season. Anyway the thing I didn't like about that show is that all the spouses were cheating or doing God knows what it seemed. Now I know that that is a huge problem in the military but what I love about army wives is it has good wholesome people. It shows all sides the good and the bad. It is something I can really relate to, except around here it is next to immpossible to get good friends like that. I wish it were so easy. Anyway I am with you completely I can't wait for season two, although I really hope Rowland (I think thats his name) comes back/ stays. I can't believe it it doesn't make any sense. She finally starts to be the woan he wanted and NOW he leaves. But it happens. Catch ya all later.
