Mother or Father, who is much closer to you???

well, i'm much closer to my dad, we've been pals since when i'm still young.

I would say my mother is much closer to me then my dad. My mom understand me a lot more than my dad.

well you are right but every person has different needs which it might be our father or mother will understand us better than the other parent. so we always need to be open to our parents,they are couple whom are caring and need to know all about us to be more connected and help us more.

i think i am much closer to my dad and i am a woman... i can talk better with my father rather than to my mum and he understands me better than my mum... but i love both of my parents... they have done a great job in raising me up...

Ya, we should love our parents because they give the beast things to us and let us go to study until highest qualification if they can afford to do so. I will more close with my mum because when i was young my dad went back home very late. I already fall in sleep when he is back and he was went out to work after i was wake up.Hence, it is more diffcult to us to communicate. But he love me too. He will buy the present to me on my birthday. My mum will listen to my problems, but when i talk to my dad, he will speak out his opinion directly which sometime i can't stand with him. So, i think i need change my feeling on him, need show more love to him since he is more older than before.

My father is extroverted and humorous, and my mother is introverted and taciturn. My father like kids very much. When I was a child, he spent hours in playing with me. He amused me, bought me things I like, lifted me over his head when I get high marks at school...My mother cared me about if I was full and warm, and ensured there was nothing wrong with my body, I was health. But my father could chatted with me frequently and he was interested in my life, my though and my sduty. We are good friends. So, I was more clser to my father when I was a child. As I am getting older, I feel I am closer to my mother. After all I am a girl, it is not convenient to talk with my father about many things, hehe. But, the relationship between my father and me is the same as before. And I can feel we are closer and closer.

I can say to both. For some matters I am very close to my mothers. But in case of careers and all, I am very close to my father. My father undrstnads my career needs and all. My mother takes care of other problem and so I am close to her in those respect.

I'm much closer to my mom than I am to my dad. Maybe it's because that when I was younger, my dad was pretty strict and he worked hard at work. I tell my mom most of the things that's happening and i also go out a lot with my mom. But of course, I love them both ^___^

of course, my mother. She is a housewife and always stay at home. Every morning, she cooks the meal for us. I love my mother! :)

My father understand me more than my mother.My mother always controll what i want do like what colleage i should go and more.I dont like what she do but i scared if she scold me.

Well, i am woman and i am closer to my dad. he understands me more than my mom..my mom and i are exact opposite in our personality and value system.

When I was a child, me too, I loved both my parents. As I grew, my mom was a disciplinarian, a perfectionist. She wanted me to become like this and like that. My father on the other hand is a relaxed person, gave me freedom to decide on my own as long as I can explain/defend my decision. With this personality differencies, I preferred and more close to my father. However, because my father was working in another place, and went home during weekends only, I had to live with my mom more of the time. Because I felt am pressed against the wall always, I developed within me a dislike of my mom. I only understood her when I was already a grown up person, that I appreciated her discipline, strict observance of house rules because without those, I cannot be what I am today. Let's give thanks and praise to our moms who really put to their hearts the future of their children!

Parents shower us with love and guide us through our ups and downs of live, right through i think and there are different phases when we are close to either one of them i think. I have always been close to my mother as well, though my sister was closer to my father, maybe because my father was out of station most of the time and our mother played both parts of the parent for us, but whenever father was around he would shower us with undivided love and care too. But then i lost my mother a few years back and somehow that vaccum can never be filled, but now i realise and i see a change in my father as well, and things he never used to do earlier, i see him do, like hes more caring, loving and understanding now than earlier, guess he knows hes to play a mothers part as well, and we on our parts too, have become more attached to him now than ever, knowing that hes all that we have , and we do need his love now more than ever too. I have also heard the saying hat fathers are closer to daughters etc, i guess would all depend from family siutaions and the relationship they share amongst each other.

hello tines! why people said girls are much more closer with their father,and boys are closer with their mother,beacuse the girl/boy would make a standard about boys/girls form their father/mother.for me my mother is closer to me than my father.

which one do i love more. hmmm.... well i don't really love one more then the other. it changes with everyday. i'm 17 so i guess it will continue on like that.

I am much closer to my mom. My mom is really like one of my best friends and I couldn't have a better one. She's the person I can talk to about everything and not worry about being judged. We go shopping and for coffee. I really love my mom.

Since i was a child i´m most closer of my father. ^___^
