Fortune Plants... the only option

I live in a small apartment with two bedrooms... my husband and i would really like to have a garden but there is no space because our apartment is located at the 3rd floor of the building... when we went to the mall, we saw several bamboo type plants of different lenghts... they are called fortune plant because according to the sales lady, the number of plant brings a specific type of fortune...
Example is if you have 3... then that would bring prosperity... the color of the gel will also bring an certain kind of fortune... now since we wanted a garden we bought like 4 stems... we don't actually believe about what it would bring but we were thinking how nice it would be to see something green inside the apartment...
Do you have this kind of plant in your home? Do you believe in this thing like fortune being brought by a plant?

Thanks for the information. I don't really know about all this fortune plants. Well, I am not too sure whether I do believe in this *smiles* I am also live in a condominium and so, I don't really have much space left except for the corridor. I have small flower pots outside my house but mind you, I am not good at plants. My mom helps me to take care of them *smiles* I just love to have green thing around the house. It will soothe the eyes and brings some calmness too.

Oh, yes, I love the fortune plant and maybe it is coincidence but when I first received one as a gift shortly thereafter our fortune improve and everyone to whom I gave little offspring plants had good things happen to them too. It is probably true that if we are looking for good things to happen we will notice when they do and that good things happen to us all of the time. Since we have a small apartment, too, and travel a lot, I consider it good fortune, though, if I can just get a plant...any plant...to grow.
Right now I do not have a fortune plant because I gave my last one away to someone who seemed to need it more than I did at the time. But I think the luck has held because I got a ginger root to sprout a couple months ago, and it is now about 2 feet tall with a dozen or so leaves unfurled. I think I will call it my Lucky Ginger.

yes i do,have fortune plant inside and outside in my house i put them side of my front door and the other two are inside of my house in bothside of my aquarium goldfish and we do believe it give a luck to have this kind of plant.

i also love the nature green in my house , so i have different plants in my house ,of couse inclues the fortune bamboo ,i belie that it can bring me the fortune,coz once i look the bamboo ,then i feel very happy and have the energy to make more money

This plant in indonesia, we called it "bambu air" means : water bamboo. Indeed This plant bring good fortune, because it bring good chi into the house. Will make the owner of the house more happy. But remenber to put it according the fengsui of your house or your and your husband kua number.
