This man right down the road from me made a suicide and also a bomb threat this afternoon. There were cops and also a bomb squad that came up. I didn't really know much about what was going on untill my best friend had called my from upstairs were her and her husband live with ther two sons. It was really creepy looking outside of my window. This picture was taken by my best friend. I thought I would share since not a whole lot happens in my small town here in Florida.

Glad to hear that nothing bad happened to anyone. We live in a small town too. We have had our fair share of strange incidents.

That is pretty incredible! Scary to see all of those emergency vehicles and cops around! No telling what was going on! Amazing how innocent a street can look one minute and the next? WOW! Makes you want to look at your neighbors in a new way, doesn't it?

This gave me the chills. Then I looked at the picture, and my hair stood up! I understand about small town living, and not much usually going on.
We would probably stand around and gawk like tourists if that happened here!

I would find such experience real scary too if it happened to my neighborhood. I hope that the man was just loose in the head and is not really a real terrorist...because it would really scare the daylights out of anybody. I also hope that all is well now in your neighborhood. It must be a scary sight with all those police and maybe swat men all over the area. take care and all the best to you my friend.

This is a creepy world we're living in, Shaun, so very little surprises me any more. Crimes that used to be confined mostly to the big cities are now on the rise in smaller cities and towns. It is sad, but true.

whoa that would be pretty scary! especially since the picture looks like its happening just across the street!
im kind of surprised that they police didnt evacuate the immediate area..you look close enough to be considered the "immediate area" to me!
so what happened? did the guy kill himself or did the police get to him? im assuming nothing actually blew up since im pretty sure you would have mentioned that! lol!

Wow...that must have been scary. I always hate it when I see a bunch of police cars and such.
Not long ago I went to lock up at about midnight and there were firetrucks and police cars out in the parking lot. Turns out someone's dryer caught fire. I couldn't fall asleep for a long time.
