Do you like to eat in front of the TV?

hi there. me and my husband love to eat while watching tv. we even placed our dinning table near our living room so that we could turn on the TV while we eat. we buy junk foods and watch movies/tv shows together. this 1 of our bonding time.

i enjoy eating in front of the tv, especially junk food, while watching cartoons! but i don't eat a lot, usually just 1 pack and i'm done. heheheh i also like to eat dinner in front of the tv, though i don't do it very often (my parents don't like it).

I personally don't like eating in front of the T.V. But now, after marriage, we do it all the time. How much ever I insist on everyone sitting at the table, no one does it. My son would do it till a year ago, but now he has stopped (following in his father's footsteps) and I've given up. I'm the only one who sits at the table. But there are occassions when I really can't miss what I am watching and then I have my meal in front of the T.V. But that's very rare and happens mostly when the kids are not around(I don't want to setting that kind of an example).

if it isn't a full meal like fries and chips, the answer would be yes. but if it's a full meal, I'll probably eat it at the dining table and never watch T.V.. we've taught by our parents not to eat full meal in front of T.V, I guess that means, that you are fully taking for granted the blessings in front of you.

It is ok... but the problem is when you do it, you do not really enjoy food... at least if I eat in front of the tv, then I forgot that I eat... it is weird I know... So double tasking (eating and watching TV) it is not good for my diet!

Me too. I love to eat in front of the tv while watching a movie. My husband and I have our lunch at the dining table. For dinner, we have only light dinner (biscuit with milk/bread so we would eat our dinner while watching a movie.Its not very good doing this but its fun. I like it.hehe

I often eat in front of the TV or computer. I should sit at a table and enjoy the food and conversation but usually just eat while sitting on the couch, staring at the screen.

I like eating snacks in front of TV. It's much more enjoyable. Such as last few weeks I enjoyed watching the Olympics, meanwhile I was eating my favorite chocolate cake. Now the Olympics is over, and I don't watch much TV. I love China

When I watch dvd/vcd, I eat in front of the TV but what happens usually is that I would stop eating if I really like the scene that's currently showing =)

I used to love eating in front of the TV. But now, I don't anymore. Why? It's because I don't own a TV set. Don't get me wrong, I love watching TV and DVD movies and all that, I just don't have time anymore to do that. Now, I eat on a table with my thoughts. I sit there quietly and concentrate on my food. Is it because I'm getting older? (LoL) I guess, there is just so many things to do and accomplish, that I didn't have time to watch TV.

I used to love eating in front of the tv, when I was a single parent with my first son we would make a big thing out of it. Every weekend we would stock up on crisps and choccy, hire some films and sit watching films and stuffing our faces! It was really nice and we looked forward to it. I have not done it for such a long time, but the problem I have now is that I cannot eat at night anymore without suffering for hours after.

I like to eat infront of my computer. I like to watch some thing when eating and TV is so boring with all the soaps and repeat of flop movies.

I am guilty of this habit. I tend to bring food upstairs and watch TV in the bedroom. Or make a meal and eat in front of the TV in the living room. Living room is just a few feet away from the kitchen so during commercials, it's faster to grab something else that I could eat or drink. We eat more in the living room than in the dining table, isn't that sad?

Yes, I do enjoy watching the television while I'm eating. Our TV is within my view from the dining area and there's no big deal in watching while I'm eating. But I don't watch TV all day long. I don't enjoy much watching it. I'd rather have a daylong internet activities. Only if I have that much time.

Research said, eating while watching tv is not good. why? because it makes you fat. Cause the more you watch tv your body reacts and stimulates your brain appetite to eat more..that's why I don't eat in front of tv.
