That's how it was for me too! I was hiting payout every month through May but then June and July combined just barely added up to payout and now I'll be comboning August, September and October to hit it. It's alright in a way though since there are more important reasons to be here than the money, it's just a little frustrating because I was really enjoying getting paid more often!

Yeah, I'm only at $2.19 since forever. I admit that I haven't been to active here. But I did read something about adding everyone, or at least a bunch of MyLotters, as friends. I'm going to start there. Wanna be my friend????? LOL.

barbiegirl-just keep posting, your number of posts is only 161 so $1.26 for that amount isn't too bad. You'll get the hang of it!

That's a good attitude to have! My last payout was for June and July (before that I was hitting it every month) Now it looks like I'll have to wait until November to get paid again. No biggy here either, was just looking forward to a little extra Christmas money based on what I had been earning.

I'm only at $6.17. I'll be lucky if I make it to $10 by the end of October. I just can't find stuff to respond to.

The pay has definitely changed too making it even harder to hit payout with a limited amount of computer time. Here it is October 4th and I STILL haven't gotten to $10 yet! I have another $0.80 to go and at this rate I'll be lucky to bring in $15 for the 3 months combined.

That's the other problem I've noticed lately too. And now even more people have stopped posting disussions.

LOL...I am SO glad school has started and one more goes to preschool 3 days a week! I hyave noticed your absence and have been thinking of you. I hope all is well and that things will settle down more for you soon.

I'm at $9.14 cents and since I'm close to pay out, I've been spending my evenings trying to get out as many post as I can to finally get the payout. Basically, this is a case of staying active and trying to hit as many meaningful discussions as you can get. It's very hard work for very little money and I don't think I could consider this a serious side income. HOwever, I think the trick is to find discussions you enjoy and feel passionate about. If you can just immerse yourself in getting into debates with people from all over the world and from all sorts of different cultural backgrounds and don't think about the money. Once you do this, you will write better postings and more often and before you know it, the money will come. I think if you think of the money too much, you will become very frustrated. It's actually quite OK to take a long break from mylot from time to time too. Anyway, don't give up and you will reach the target!

I catch myself reading more than posting too. Sometimes I just can't think of anything to say or what I want to say has already been said 20 times so I figure what's the point.

tigertang- the money isn't really a big deal for me, I just miss having the time to make payout more than anything. I used to make payout and then some but now I hardly ever have time for the computer.

my is only at 3.64 not sure if I will make it for the 10.00 pay out, I answered almost 30 discussions yesterday and only got paid like .12

I hoping I can get back to that at least too. My total is at 11.27 today so October has been pretty slow too but not too bad.

That's still beter than me LOL...my grand total for September ended up being $2.15! August was $6 and change. So many people have been leaving lately over pay and the random deletions. I hope things get better around here real soon!

Aww..well I hope you have "spurts" more often! We need to keep some of the good myloters around, it's beginning to be pretty bleak here!

Well you've dealt with quite a few problem this past month too! I'm glad you haven't completely given up on the site yet though.

It does seem harder than it used to be. $5 on a good month seems much more realistic than the $15-20 I was getting before.

sang2k2-The first place for you to start would be to read the guidelines. You will find the link at the bottom of every page in blue letters. Secondly, you need to write out your words. This is not a chat room and we are not sending text messages here. Your posts are very difficult to read when you write like that and most people here do not like "chat speak" and will not bother to read it. You must earn a total of $10.00 to receive payout.

Multiply that by the 4 or so weeks in a month and you'll come pretty close to payout. Good job!
